McKay Bike Park — Attraction in Broomfield

Great dirt bike track! There’s a small track for lower abilities/younger kids and there’s also a big dirt track for higher abilities/older kids. We’ve been multiple times starting when our kids were 3 years old riding their strider balance bike. Excellent free activity for kids and there’s a huge, awesome park nearby and a small lake with walking trail. My only complaint is that during the summer it can get crazy hot since there’s practically no shade. It would be awesome if thru could either plant s few big trees or put up an awning or two. Kids ride their electric dirt bikes and mess up the jumps but if you try and be polite and ask them to leave you will get yelled at by other adults that dont care about the posted rules or the condition of the jumps for us bike riders.
