Small but mighty! The total trail length was under two miles as I recall but it’s one of the favorite parks my wife and I have been to.
There are basically two areas to the woods. Closer to the parking lot there are older trees, mostly tulip poplars and sugar maples with some red oaks. We went in late Fall and these trees made the woods very yellow. Beautiful. Farther from the parking lot the woods get scrubbier and younger with the sugar maples replaced by red maples and some pine added in.
The park had the biggest Osage Orange tree I’ve ever seen, around 50 feet tall. Fruit all over the ground. Truly an awesome tree.
We saw a ten point buck very close to us on the trail.
The “ledges” are small areas. Nice but nothing too special. If you want to be impressed with rocks you’ll probably be disappointed.
Housing, etc all around the park though I don’t recall a lot...

The trails are nice and usually not busy, though they do border some private property and neighborhoods. You will see into some backyards. The actual ledges are wonderful and you can get pretty close, though not in the same class as Top O' Ledges at Hinckley. If you're in the Brunswick/Medina area and looking for something different, go check it out. Otherwise just know it's a smaller preserve if you're planning a special trip...

I was there for hours , and I didnt experience half of it . You'll love it here . When you first start on the trail keep an eye out for the zig-zag trees to your right . It's the only area in there that I observed them . I've been in hundreds of woods and I've never seen...
