Zion Market — Attraction in Buena Park

I would put 0 rating… are you serious?? This lady as i entered to shop, stopped me saying never wear this sandal again. Wth!! No one stops me for wearing sandal at Ralphs or at Albertson. I didn’t plan on shopping but i realized that i needed something so i just quickly wanted to pick up some stuff. I said politely ok ok then went on shopping but she kept still talking in my back with other older Korean ladies. How rude to do that. When i was at the register to pay at the end, this cashier wasn’t sure about the price of a persimmon box. And the cashier called out that lady who stopped me for wearing sandal. So apparently that women who told me not to wear sandal was the manager. And this manager was literally bitching at the cashier for not remembering the price correctly , right in front’s of customer. Ridiculous…. Ans this happened between 11:15-11:25 am on January 13th, 2025. Can’t believe she stopped a customer who went in sandal (i am not even teenager i am in my late 40’s and she can’t talk to me las if were a teenager… ridiculous…. I am not going to shop at Zion anymore… You guys are losing customers….. hire better manager who...

Zion is one of 3 giant korean super market chain,but this particular place is very unique, cause, according to business Code, same business is not allowed within same corner, but due to (i guess) 4 corner belong to 4 different city - Buena Park, Fullerton , Ramirda , La Habra -all 3 giant (zion, HanNam Chain, H mart) been competing each others side by side, with their own special items and luring price from time to time, gethering all nationalty people as a customer or workers , making changes this place as like a cosmopolitan with along side other small business. I drop by 9 am early , not only buy 9 white peaches & a box of mango, by the freshness, price and abundace , end up to spend almost $100 . Check it out , which market has baiting items with ridiculous price , for exam like , boxfull of vegetable is a price of a bundle of .99 cent only ,may not last long though, or ask around to the ladies, which market give free charge of cleaning fishes or gives free cosmetic sample, so on and visiting food corner may stimulate your appetite each other enjoying all different food, and you gone a...

The worst customer service ever! Not only did they pull a bait and switch with the price (again), they blame the customer for their mistakes. Ever since they started getting more customers because of their slightly lower prices among the other korean super markets across the street, their quality of food has gone down. The price was the only reason why I shopped here and now I have to deal with attitude from their cashiers and managers? Give me a f*in break!

If you screw up, own up to it and resolve the issue quickly, people will understand and move on. But you never disrespect the customer by telling them to be quiet and tell them to go to the end of the line to get the refund. You can bet I'm never shopping here again. I'll pay extra to not have to deal with this kind B.S. ever again.
