Backyard Party Supply — Attraction in Buffalo

I am very unhappy with the service I received from Backyard Party Supply. My wedding was last night and I had two very large tents, chairs and a dance floor delivered. First of all, there were holes in the tent above the dance floor, many of my guests slipped and fell due to how wet it was (obviously it rained yesterday). Also when the set up the dance floor a piece of it was on a tree root, which made it about 6 inches off the ground. When I called to complain about that, the guy told me that the people who set it up were "idiots." I wasn't aware that I would need to supervise grown men installing my dance floor. I was very busy in the days leading up to the wedding. Also, the ceremony was outside, I had a tent and chairs delivered to the outdoor venue. The arrived at 2pm to set them up, the ceremony was at 3. That was OK with me, but they hadn't scouted the venue out before hand and were unable to place the tent where I wanted it because it was on concrete, so we could not use the tents or the chairs and all of my guests had to stand. 30 mins before my wedding they called me to tell me they couldn't do what I wanted. Backyard Party Supply provided both an exceptional tent & service. We had our wedding outside and on the water this past August. Mike who owns the company met me in the winter to scope out the venue and suggest the ideal size of tent. We ended up renting a 45' x 30' frame tent for just over 100 guests, which was the perfect size.The crew set-up the tent the day before and broke down the tent the day after. The crew communicated their set-up time and I was able to meet them on-site for last minute instructions. They were very accommodating and really set-up everything exactly as communicated. The tent was clean and in great condition. I would highly recommend Backyard Party Supply for quality, cost and service. Mike was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our customer satisfaction. We will definitely use Backyard Party Supply for any parties and/or functions...

We used Backyard Party Supply for a recent event. The 10 tents took 7 hours to put up. They also tried to tell us that they don't put up sides and lights on the tents, even though nothing in the contract said that the company does not put up lights and sides, and it was never communicated to us before the event. They did end up putting them up, but weren't done until less than an hour before the start of the event. Also, the attitude of the staff was completely unacceptable. They were rude, spent much of their time goofing off and cursing, flipped off one of my colleagues, and continually smoked on site, even when I asked them not to because one of our colleagues is pregnant.
