Empire Comics — Attraction in Buffalo

Was extremely helpful for the first release of the comic issue, then started to dwindle. I purchased a book for the regular retail price on week, then the next they wanted a 600% increase in price. I of course questioned that and was told that no other place around would sell the book for any less, while also showing me pictures of the book off of ebay, not from other comic shops around. Also with the same order was told it came with exclusive items, but they were just the regular items as usual. I then went to other comic shops for the same book and was charged the normal price of $4.99 or even less! I told the other shops about this and they said that was outrageous. Empire Comics is a gem of a store! The cleanliness and organization make for a pleasant shopping experience. You'll find plenty of current titles as well, along with a decent number of bins to dig through for back issues.

The two-person team running the store complements each other beautifully, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. They truly go above and beyond for their customers; I had a wonderful conversation about comics, and one of the owners even came down to shake my hand simply because I was there.

One of the coolest small comic shops where the owner knows absolutely everything. She is super informative and knowledgeable of the different universes branching all over the comic world, and stays pretty up to date with new episodes and editions. This business is all about saving you money to get what you love and are interested in. I will certainly be returning soon to check out some different comic series.
