So just want to address a couple things, the one star review from John Elliot 6 months before mine... John mentioned terrible patrons with the fbomb and how clique it was. I just visited and have to say yes, there were some fbombs.. clique.. maybe.. everyone there appeared to be local and this was confirmed by a nice Irish Catholic guy named Chuck.. he was a welcoming older guy.. his oldest kid is 56.. despite all the locals being there, everyone was friendly and minding their own business or taking the time to talk to me since I was obviously not from the local area. No one was giving me a dirty look or being rude to me just because they didn't recognize me. The first person who struck up a conversation with me was the guy tending the bar, Joe. Regarding the 1 star review by Joshua pulvino... Not sure what happened with the bouncer but there was no bouncer on site when I was there so I don't know that this is a valid concern any longer. Here's what I can say, Joe the bartender went out of his way to have a conversation with me, the patrons at the bar did the same and we're we're absolutely friendly and respectful. The wings I ordered were perfect. They gave me plenty of napkins and the quality was top notch. Was it loud? Yes, they played a great variety of music which could please everyone equally at one point or another. People we're talking loud but it's a smaller space and as more people are talking the louder you have to be. If you come in and sit at a table and don't speak up... Don't expect them to notice immediately.. say something. They won't be offended. Don't expect to come in and be waited on hand and foot. I will absolutely come back to this place each time I have the chance while in Buffalo. Give it a try. If you aren't entitled to instant gratification and willing to strike up a conversation with the local folks, you will have a great time. The prices here were more than fair as well. I hope this review will help keep people coming in. This place deserves a try and I sincerely hope they...

This place was recommended to me for their reasonably priced and very large burgers, so I checked it out one day. I have been there enough now that I have my ‘usual’, which is the lobster mac n cheese- which is to DIE for! I get it so much that when I go, I come in, get a soda and my order of mac n cheese, and go to town. My second favorite items are the pretzel bites with cheese, or the fries, South Buffalo style (with hot sauce). My friend, who usually comes with me, swears by the Potter’s Burger- the one with a giant stuffed banana pepper on it. My favorite time to go is the summertime, where they have a large patio out back, with a big wooden privacy fence They have hanging flowers all throughout the whole patio, and have nice lighting, too. It’s usually quiet back there and fairly private, so I always sit out back. Inside, it tends to get way too loud, with people shouting at a game, or just being a bit too rowdy, so I usually go only in the spring/summer/fall, when I can eat outside. The bathroom is my only gripe- it’s freezing cold in there! Otherwise when I want to go out, and stay in my neighborhood, and want some comfort food, I head here and...

I really really wanted to love this place! The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a pub, which was totally fine, but its why we didn't stay in and eat because we were exhausted from our 11 hr trip, but the food online looked so good so we went for it. We both ordered burgers, well-done. I had the French onion burger and my husband had the banana pepper burger. We ordered our food to go so we could go back to the hotel and eat, shower and go to bed. The burgers looked absolutely delicious....but, when I bit into mine, it was RAW! Barely cooked on the outside, and not cooked at all on the inside. Hubby's burger was medium, which was better than mine, but still not what he ordered. Neither of us got to eat and we were too tired to take it all the way back in an area we were not familiar with. We spent $40 for 2 burgers that we didn't get to eat any of. So disappointed because it looked and smelled so good. I'm hoping this was just a miscommunication between us and the waitress. The service was good, the food-- I wish...

Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere – A Must-Visit Spot! My aunt and I went for dinner, and it was my first time at Potter's Field. We ordered the baked French onion soup, cheese-stuffed hot banana peppers, and the grilled Reuben sandwich—along with a couple of beers, of course. Everything was absolutely delicious! The French onion soup had great flavor, perfectly portioned ingredients, and that lovely melted cheese. The banana peppers were flavorful but not too hot (thankfully), and the Reuben was just the right amount of messy—packed with flavor. The portions were generous, pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere and décor were great, adding to the overall experience. My only minor complaint is that it was a bit boisterous inside, making it hard to hear my aunt at times. I can only imagine how loud it gets when it's packed! Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit, and it could easily become a neighborhood favorite.

My wife and I went here on a Friday afternoon. Our server was Lauren. She was very friendly and a hard worker. To start, my wife had a cup of banana pepper soup, and I had a cup of New England clam chowder. Both soups were very delicious. For lunch, my wife had a coconut shrimp salad, and I had a beer-battered fish fry with fries. Both dishes were very delicious too. Nice relaxing neighborhood pub style atmosphere. Perfect place for couples and groups. We will definitely return here.

This past Monday was my first time here with my Aunt. It's usually busy but it was a calm afternoon for a late lunch. The bartender/waitress was warm and inviting to us. The atmosphere was clean and cozy. The food was delicious! I ordered the coconut chicken salad. If I could, I'd order that salad every day! I asked for no mandarin oranges in mine, though. Their mac and cheese is heavenly! Anyway, I'll be happy to return here next time I'm in that area!
