I attended their event on the 8th and was completely blown away how utterly unorganized it was. We arrived about 30 minutes after the event started and the line was already out the door. They were COMPLETELY unprepared for a large turnout. Their idea of communication throughout the event was yelling at us through a megaphone and running away. There was no line control, they would just randomly come out and yell at everyone to move in one direction or another. We were told at the beginning that only two items were allowed to be signed per person, however it wasnât until around 4:30 that they actually started enforcing it. You could tell they were panicking because the line was still wrapped around the courtyard. Once we got near the door we were told we were going to be some of the last people able to see David Hayter. Once we were inside the owner told us that no one else was allowed to meet him. By then they had stopped offering picture with him, only autographs. The guy at the door kept letting people in even though the owner was cutting everyone off. There was absolutely no communication between employees or the people there as guests. Their event also mentioned that people could go and play the new smash bros game, however with how it was set up, I donât see how you could play at all. All in all this event was a complete disappointment. I wouldnât recommend going to any events of theirs in the future. We waited 3.5 hours and were able to just see David right before he left because we practically begged him to wait. If they had enforced their own rules and been more prepared they should have been able to get through more of the line then they did. Save your time and...
Read moreI was visiting from out of town and really looked forward to checking out this video game store. We arrived around 5 PM â a full two hours before their listed closing time of 7 PM (according to Google) â only to be met almost immediately by an employee who told us they were closing in a rude and dismissive tone.
Although we were technically allowed to look around, the employee made it very clear we werenât welcome. He rushed us the entire time, which made it impossible to properly browse or see what the store had to offer. The whole interaction felt unprofessional and uninviting.
As someone who genuinely wanted to support a local business, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. If your hours have changed, update them. And if youâre still open, treat your customers with basic respect. Iâd recommend calling ahead if youâre thinking of visiting â and maybe being ready...
Read moreThe event that this store had yesterday was run so poorly. The staff didn't enforce any of the rules they gave to the fans. They had an "A" list voice actor there for autographs for 4 hours and people who even showed up on time and waited for 4 hours didn't even meet the actor. There must have been probably at least 300 people there but if they enforced the rules to one item signed and a quick photo he could have been done in 3 hours easily. I've been to plenty of autograph events and I have never seen an event that was run this terribly.
Future advice: if you are going to spend a few thousand dollars to pay for an actor to come in for an autograph session, you need to plan ahead, dont be pushovers and enforce your rules, about 50 people didn't get a chance to...
