Nu Great Wok — Restaurant in Burbank

The most rude service in any restaurant I have ever been to in my adult years. BE CAREFUL - - THIS PLACE WAS GREAT FOR TWENTY OR MORE YEARS, BUT WAS SOLD TO NEW OWNERS (Hence name change to "Nu Great Wok) There are other Chinese restaurants in Burbank where you will be treated like a valued customer, and not get involved with an argument with the woman that seems to be in charge.

A big disappointment - -food has gone downhill since Grace and family had the place for so long. Nu Great Wok says NO MSG, but I got a serious headache after my meal - -which did taste just OK.

Watch out. Be prepared for lesser quality food, nickel and dime you for every tiny extra, food stored next to toilet, etc.

Tried Nu Great Wok for the first time on Christmas and we couldn't have been more pleased! We were expecting mediocre, but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover.

We ordered BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken with Fresh Vegetables, Chicken Chow Mein, Vegetable Egg Rolls, and Salt and Pepper Pork Chop. The last item was an impulse selection and ended up the hit of the meal.

We will definitely order from here again!

Worth noting was that they were so busy they weren't able to keep up with phone calls. It's so good it's worth going in to place the order...

We stayed at the Inn across the way during our vacation and decided to do something different. Ended up trying Nu Great Wok and it was a terrific decision. The lady at the counter was super friendly. We told her that we were here for my finance's birthday and she included free wonton chips and sauce! Even the containers were of a higher quality than I would normally expect.
