Ill start w negatives: I was told the room will have bottle of water for free, no waters. I got what im assuming to be the handicap room due to the bathroom w walkin shower, very slippery for the handicap or disable guest. Water splatter all over, had to put towels on the floor while showering. Door lock didnt not locked, the hole wasnt at the same level as the lock. The room was remodeles, seemed had new carpet, new paint on the walls, new tile floor in bathroom, looks ahower walk still needs to be finish off. They need a new shower head, w more water pressure. And maybe a shower curtain, to stop water to spill all over. And again slippery floor, almost fell 3 times. Who ever installed their picture frames didnt use a Level tool, both picture frames are crooked, see bellow, probably xant tell by picture i took. Also i needed to use the hairdryer and i couldnt use it in the bathroom bcs the mirror fram was overlapping the electrical outlet, so the plug didnt fit, see pics bellow. POSITIVES: 3 STARS FOR FRIENDLY STAFF, FLEXIBLE TO ACOMODATE GUEST, NICE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, THEY ARE IN PROCESS OF REMODELING. THEY RUN AND OPERATE THE DINNER NEXT DOOR.

I love this place. Very nice location and not too old or tacky. Lots of great places to visit nearby, and the location in Burbank is convenient. Love the 24/7 office and the continental breakfast. Stayed here 3 nights a and had a great time. Bedbugs were NOT an issue and the room was very neat and tidy. Of course, I made sure to inspect every inch of the room, bath, and bed before setting my stuff down. The breakfast is underwhelming, BUT perfect for snacking on a budget. The breakfast consists of just bagels, muffins, English muffins, danishes, cream cheese, butter, jelly, fruits, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. Leaves one longing for protein, but at least the stuff is still delicious. You could always get soup or an egg around the corner at Frank's. Warm water always, working air conditioning, adequate drawer space for the clothes of two people, a ~40" flatscreen, a mini fridge and microwave. And -I love this- two fresh bottled waters. This was a great and comfy location and I literally saw it was my home away-from-home during my stay in Burbank. Might likely stay again.

✨✨✨Please follow me on IG @ssindyeats for more foodie bites and travels. Thanks. We decided to go to LA VERY last minute for a quick foodie trip. Holiday Inn was super expensive for a Friday night around Burbank on a short notice. So, we opt for Portofino Inn for about $160 per night (we were going to stay there for only a 10 hrs). Even though, it's a motel, :( I never pick the cheap ones- those are the scary ones + dirty ones. Yes, I always check the reviews before going, and the ratings were decent- at least 3. (I always bring my own towels.) FYI, Portofino Inn is only a few minutes from Portos (not related lol), and 10 mins from the Wat Thai temple. The motel is clean, and the lady at the counter is super friendly. Told her we were leaving at 6:30 am, and she suggested coming by to grab some breakfast to go before we leave. She can open the door early for us, since bfast starts at 7am. (See pics) We took some snacks and drinks to go. Ps. Don't forget about Frank coffee on the site, it was featured in shows and movies.

This is a tough place to review.... The rating one gives is influenced by so many outside factors though some are internal. So it's tough to find a reasonable cost clean and nice and secure location in Burbank. Personally I would recommend another but the cost at that location is a third more than this location, thought that one has a better location going for it as well. See my other Burbank, hotel review from this trip. So this hotel doesn't have as nice an secure feeling neighborhood, it does have Franks Restaurant attached which is not open but is a fun thing to look at, it's like it just closed and everything inside looks like it's open for business, that's cuz so many movies and tv shows use it for filming, there is a list posted on the window, fun and interesting thing to look at while staying here. The front desk was friendly on check in though I had to wait for them to return from the store. The rooms are upgraded at some point not that long ago, though you get the feeling while the hotel tried, it can't keep up with a clientele that sometimes you get the feeling at this hotel beats up the rooms a bit. Some of the furniture though not that hold isn't handling that well. You get the feeling that though the room is kept clean it still is somehow dirty it's hard to describe, and the sirens on the street during the night I guess either added or detracted from the atmosphere here. I don't feel like I would bring my family here though it was a good place to overnight as I attended a Dodger game with not a horrific commute to the stadium or other nearby Burbank locations. The bed was ok, but I can't say I slept well and the shower does have low water pressure and towels are small and a bit worn. So yes, for the area and for the price I kinda have to give it a 4, because it could be so much worse, though I'm not sure I would personally stay again and keep in my pursuit of the ultimate in mid priced but great Burbank...

After arriving the first was told that the 2 rooms we reserved only had one bed each we were a family of 6 we had no choice but to squeeze ourselves into these 2 rooms.the smell in one was awful and noisy all night .it looked like a very old motel just coving up it’s blemishes with a bit of makeup still felt old and dingy for the price I would have rather stayed at a motel 6. They got us 2 new rooms for the next 2 nights which was fine but we had to pack up all our stuff the second morning and lug it to universal the next morning and then in pack it again after arriving back at the motel after a long exhausting trip to universal studios.our new rooms well again still showed that I just woke up in the morning look.very dingy and dark.picture propped up against the wall and not rehung obviously. Internet not very good no microwave switches broken and furniture very old and scratched up sheet had some stains on it and the wash looked dirty.hardly found the place in a very old not so great part of town .no lit up hotel sign just a very old looking building.looked like a motel from 1950. Couldn’t get anything but scalding hot water.couldnt use the mini fridge as everything froze and no where to adjust temp.lighting so bright you thought you were in a office bldg.drapes were falling off rods in both rooms. I would never stay there again not even if you...

I didn't like how the manager kept insinuating that we were going to have loud parties in the rooms or a lot of extra overnight guests because we were from out of town for a wedding. The manager and most staff were not friendly or accommodating for most requests and calls my room to have me leave 15 minutes after 11 even though it was in the notes that I had a late checkout and he insisted that it was not possible but then found it in his notes. The size of the rooms were a good size but they shifted our rooms around so much that we didn't get the rooms that we were booked for when placing our reservations and we didn't all get the beds we were booked for or even the amount of days. They wouldn't honor the wedding guest prices we were quoted even calling a week or two before the stay. Also some of the bathrooms needed upgrade but the free breakfast was literally the best part of the stay because they had such a good variety of food and drinks. We decided to stay at this hotel because they were giving the wedding guests deals on the rates and they were the lowest prices in the area we needed. On a good note though they didn't give us a hard time about any of the children with our total party aside from saying we would be charged extra if the children...
