Office Depot — Attraction in Burleson

We were shopping at Target for a laminator, but they didn’t have 5 mil lamination pouches, so I got on the Office Depot app on my phone and found that Office Depot had the same laminator that target has but it came in a bundle with the 5 mil pouches for a little more. $49 was the price on the app. We head over to Office Depot to buy the laminator but can’t find it anywhere in the lamination aisle. I go up front and ask the employee at the register if they know where I can find this. He takes me back over to lamination and says it’ll be here, I mention I have already looked here and he mulls it over for a bit before suggesting that it might be in the overhead stock area. He opens a cabinet above and finds it. Obviously, they don’t have it where it is easily accessed by the customer because the ones that were on the lower shelves were the very expensive ones. They make the expensive ones easy to access, and the cheaper ones very hard to access. We make our way to the register and he rings it up, and it rings up at $90… I call them out on the price discrepancy (ALMOST DOUBLE), and he openly admits that a majority of their stuff has two prices, one in store and one online and manually adjusts the price to what it was advertised as online, but requires a manager override to do this. This is predatory business practice and destroys my trust in Office Depot. Buyer beware, always check online before...

Hands down the BEST customer service and experience I have EVER had at this Office Depot! This Review is really for SHELBY, more than Office Depot.

Shelby went above and beyond! I’ve been coming in for years. NOT EVEN MANAGMENT has been this attentive or engaged during my visits (unless Shelby is a manager, she’s the first).

Shelby provided excellent assistance, helpfulness, brought extra tools for me to use during my service without me asking, clearing off surfaces so I have place to set my documents. She not only showed me where the writing utensils were, she walked up to the tray grabbed a pen, removed the cap and set it down for me!! 🤯 I mean talk about attention to detail! She prepped the fax machine for me and walked me through each step until the end of the transaction. She explained the process thoroughly and stood there to assure the machine would begin the process without any glitches.

Mind you, this is all while also tending to other customers using the machines, she greeted everyone that walked in, restocking merchandise on the end caps, checking in on her colleagues making sure they’ve taken their breaks or have gone to lunch and checking customers out at the register!!

This young lady not only deserves recognition, she deserves a raise. Actually, she DESERVES a promotion! Thank you Shelby, I appreciate all...

made a few orders there trying to give them the benefit i mean some times some people working in the print area might be better than others and we can all have bad days. NOPE. first time i ordered prints of a digital painting they said hey lets do it on cardstock...i said i wanted a high gloss...for a digital painting so photo quality was what i needed. they also did it on normal paper for some reason. second time they couldnt scan and print an 8X11 and have it print as an 8X11 for some of my dogs paperwork i didnt complain on that one as i could cut it down easily enough . but the absolute last straw was today i ordered a book of laminated pages i got a call saying they couldnt laminate the cover and back i was fine with that they said they would put a clear cover over the non laminated cover cool fine i go in the next day to pick it up i am at the counter they keep letting someone behind me interrupt me while i have items in hand to buy and things to pick up its not hard to just say "hold on sir let me finish up here" by then im annoyed i get my stuff and leave get home and its not laminated, none of it theres just a plastic cover sheet i know for a fact i selected laminated pages online. I would rather order my printing now online from places outside of burleson because this . i called about it and...
