Wonders Ice Cream — Restaurant in Burleson

The Good: The menu is amazing and the different ice cream order selections will blow your mind. Each ice cream order is prepared carefully and custom. This isn't just a place where they scoop from a bucket and add toppings. This is more like a crepe shop that makes ice creams. The cream is poured onto a frozen flat surface, spread around, chilled, then rolled into cute little ice cream rolls. Toppings are carefully and skillfully added and the flavor combinations are amazing, unlike any basic ice cream shop in Burleson/Crowley area!

The Bad: Be prepared to break the bank, the smallest size ice cream is $6. The ice cream itself tastes a little dry and less creamy than homeade the traditional way. The ice cream itself feels less flavorful, but the toppings add the flavor back in. Also the location was very cold when we came in on a warm night, I almost did not want to stay long inside. Employees did not ask if we had been there before, did not walk us through the ordering process.

Suggestions for the owner: Turn the temp up for customers. Also have employees talk each customer through ordering process and selection. Also think about expanding into Bubble Tea. This would be a great location to add in bubble tea, there is a lot of space in the back counter and on the wall to add a...

So great, nice portions and toppings aren't super expensive. There was a super amiable girl with a blonde underdye and the cutest hat I've ever seen and who helped me decide what I wanted for my first time, she was very descriptive but I probably would have liked my choice even without her help. It's nice that the owner allows them to look however they want to decorate their hats, because the three people I've had the pleasure of ordering from had cute hats and just looked like they felt comfortable in their environment, and lots of places won't let people dye their hair or have unnatural hairstyles but times have changed and this place is keeping up with the times. The ice creams on the menu have fun names and there's something on the menu for everyone. It got slow last time I visited but that was probably due to the tremendous amount of people who were there; Not even enough seats for everybody, probably some event or group. This place also has vegan/dairy free options available for everything so you won't feel trapped...

The ice cream is amazing and full of flavor, especially with the many customizations you can do. The milk drinks they are offer are probably some of the best if not the best that I’ve had and I go all over the metroplex trying every little boba shop I find. My only gripe with it, and the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that while the drinks are good the boba on the other hand is not. It’s just tapioca, it’s dry also raw tasting. They don’t put it in a honey bath or brown sugar bath like other places do. They just make it and give it to you as is which honestly kills the flavor of the drink, especially if you were wanting something to chew on while you drink it. Easy fix though.
