This place is over priced and the management is poor. I threw my children a joint party this past weekend to much dismay. It was hot as hades in the facility. I was running late by a few minutes there was no compensation to my 2 hrs of time for sitting I paid 120 dollars for because apparently you have to pay to sit down at this place. I was advised incorrectly by staff members that the party pricing was inclusive of nickels for children because never would I have ever paid. 120 dollars for 24 people to sit down. When there is a 2 dollar admission fee I was charged 120 to sit down! And then $100 for nickels. That I was told were a party of this 2 table 16 guests package. Me and my family WILL NEVER be back
To elaborate further in lieu of the dissertation that management has the time to type. The management is poor , there was not even a manager there on duty to assist or handle this issue at the time of payment at 9p.m. Never have I ever been to a family establishment and no management is in the building. If you are going to charge me for the 1hr and 45 minutes then I should have been alotted that time frame. Point blank period, I was told the party was a package deal . Please believe I could have had the eating portion with fried chicken and queso and dinosaur fruit and decorations at my home and then went to play at your facility had I known that the cups were not included in the party package. If it was commnicated effectively I would have rather done it this way.. because it was not worth sitting in that hot shared party room with one fan on the floor for 120 dollars, so like I said over rated and the arcade smelling of moth balls and mildew my children enjoyed and thats what was important but the communication is unacceptable and the professionalism is disgustingly not there. Lastly I did not want to pay for the miscommunication that was apparently the issue . But in the end you received your money and refunded the nickels not used this is correct, as it was never an issue of me not being able to pay. The kids loved those little dinosaur boxes ! however this was our first and last experience for a party at...
Read moreI love supporting small businesses. However, I just think it's excessive to charge your guest $3.50 per person to be inside the facility whether you're playing or not. I brought my daughter so she can play a few video games while I watched, but I was still going to be charged for just watching. I'm happy to pay the cost of game cards and refreshments.
If your business models requires you to charge for an entry fee, you might want to revisit your business model.
Thankfully Chuck E. Cheese, Dave & Buster's and numerous other facilities don't have the same business model.
In rebuttal to your response:
Thank you for taking the time to respond such a detailed message.
I can't help feel it's a little excessive for us to pay over $10 for three of us to come to your facility when only one of us is going to only be partaking.
My concern is none of the family entertainment establishments such as the large competition like the one opening up soon around the corner will be charging an entry fee. I could be wrong, so please let me know.
And forgive me, I did not take time to read your website regarding the entry fee prior to our arrival on the impromptu visit. I have been to your establishment before and have not been charged a fee.
To answer your question, we did not stay in partake out of principal. Your facility is clean and convenient. Perhaps that's why you're charging the entry fee is out of convenience seeing there is no competition at this point.
If I may offer a suggestion, either increase your prices, charge for the cards, adjust your overhead, or make the event so appealing that you make up the difference (plus some) in volume. Maybe you're already doing those things and it's simply not enough. 🤷🏻♂️
I will consider deleting my one star review in the near future. I'm not looking for anything in return other than...
Read moreMe and my family played mini golf and used the arcarde here a Saturday as soon as they opened for the day about 3 weeks ago, forgot to post this review. But here goes.
The holes werent terrible but some of the tees were so worn out and two weren't even attached to the green. There was dirt and acorns all over making your shots far less accurate (which isn't fun for a 10 and an 8 year old who aren't too skilled to begin with). Some holes were so poorly kept that we actually used a sweatshirt as a broom to remove some of the debris (sorry, but I shouldn't have to do their job for them if I'm paying to be there no matter how good the prices). All in all the golf was fun.
The arcade left some things to be desired. There were five games or so I found were broken (ate coins, stuck buttons, jammed coin slots, tickets not given) and no out of order signs posted even after employees were notified. The games were alright but the staff seemed more interested in each other and their phones than actually helping guests. On the same note, the one staff member running the prize cabinet seemed like if he never saw another child in his life itd still be too soon. I get it, teenagers don't always like kids. But come on bro, my little brother was 2 tickets short to get a dang Tootsie roll and he told him no. Chuck E. Cheese's isn't even that stingy. I don't know what their policy is but that's a bit extra if you ask me.
Oh and to top it all off, I've been in music festival port-a-potties cleaner than that men's room, I held it. Come on guys, step up your game, use some soap.
Still had...
