This place has made several improvements as well and has gained a lot of popularity amongst people who live in Burton and flint and Grand Blanc. If you like fishing they've made a long fishing dock that goes from one end all the way to the expressway a very nice dock to say the least, it's also a good swimming hole you just have to look at the sign and make sure that the e-coli levels aren't too high for swimming. I go there in the morning just to relax as it's so Serene so beautiful so quiet and the local law enforcement in Burton goes there all the time to make sure that there are no violations her drug users are people who are just going there to destroy property so they're they're vigilant which I like the ads off to the Burton Police Department for monitoring that place it's a treasure if it weren't for them it would be already ruined it's a nice place for a birthday parties, graduations open houses, retirement parties, or just having a nice grill out...

It’s kinda surprising to me that my visit was the first time I’ve ever been to Kelly Lake. Overall it’s a nice, quiet little park with a couple of pavilions if you want a family get-together or kids birthday party. The walking trail is very short and typical of what you’d see on a trail in Mid-Michigan, some tree, a lake and a little bit of nature. The trail starts near the parking area and goes down to Genesee Rd, near the I-69 bridge and Genesee Christian Elementary School. On the other end, a wooden walkway goes over the lake/marsh and gives you the most scenic view in the park imo. There is a path on the other side of the lake that gives you nice views as you walk under the trees and is clearly taken care of, but it isn’t paved and you will have to watch you head for tree limbs. Overall it’s a nice little serene park...

Great little place to go to spend some quiet time alone or with whomever you'd like! Has a walking platform that extends across the lake, where people can fish if desired or just stroll and admire the beauty of nature. There's a world of reeds and swamp on the west side of the walking dock, and a beautiful little lake to the east. I spent a few hours here recently for some quality alone time and was able to sit at a picnic table under one of their pavilions for hours uninterrupted. All of the visitors were very polite and it just has a very pleasant feeling vibe overall. I love places where the entire community can spend time with each other and everyone fits in, there's no expectations of appearance in places like this. Everyone treats each other as human beings should when in...

Kelly Park located off Lapeer Road west of Genesee Road in Burton offers many scenic views and things to do. Many people come to walk on the nature trail, fish, picnic, swim or in the winter..,sledding so, there is a lot to do in this little park. There is a pavilion that can be rented. I enjoy coming to see the nature and sunsets, but also people launch their model motor boats and race them on the lake. My only complaint is that there is a lot of trash that people go not pick up after themselves. This evening I also noticed that someone has let their Peking ducks loose in this lake. It’s a shame that this park is next to the highway.
