Bates County Courthouse — Attraction in Butler

It's been standing for many years. It's a cool old building. The license bureau used to be on the south side but now it's the entrance to the courthouse. Someone took a saw to all the trees on the property which is a huge sin in my opinion but they've somehow managed to stay alive. Old old trees. Judge Highley is our newest Judge whom took Judge Hopkins place on the bench in the lower court. Then the upper court is Judge Baker whom I've no knowledge about.
