Tu Casa Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Butler

I took a friend there to eat a late afternoon lunch and celebrate their Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 ! Our waitress, Alexa/Alexis was the BEST! We both had beef chimichangas with rice and chips and queso dip. Then Alexa and the staff from Tu Casa outdid themselves! Alexa slipped up from the back and put the Sombrero on, and the rest of the staff sang Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 and did an excellent job of sticking the entire dish of cool whip, ice cream and chocolate syrup 😋 ALL over her face ! Maybe, I encouraged them to rub it in good , haha 😄, but they did an awesome job ! They definitely didn't disappoint us ! I went to pay, and was told our waitress already took care of the bill ! Kudos to you Alexa, a little larger tip on the table for her ! Thank you for going above and beyond for us ! You totally made our day ❤️ 💕. Tu Casa Mexican Restaurant is the BEST in Butler, and we'll definitely be back soon to dine with you all again ! Thanks ❤️ again for all you did to make it such a great day for both of us ! I'll definitely be Paying it forward soon...

We had originally came here looking for a BBQ place, unfortunately, we pulled up and should have just pulled off

I'm trying to understand everybodys hype with this establishment, forgive me, but, the food tasted like my high school cafeteria had a fabulous day making Mexican food that day, it was small as heck, bland, not seasoned or definitely way under seasoned, our server was rude and kept talking over us and taking off before we could ask him for some things, my mother wanted lettuce, tomatoes and cheese for her tacos, we got nickeled and dimed for every single little thing and when the bill came, the price on the ticket definitely did not match the quality of food or service we had received

Literally, this place gets 1 star for its cheese dip and because you can't leave zero stars.

Highly disappointing visit and definitely don't recommend any one else come here...

so the food was tasty no issue there but when i was there for dinner and i got served less than a lunch fajita more like a kids portion it upset me to say the least oh and the margarita i ordered would be wayyyy more delish if it actually had alcohol in it geez these people need to realize if they want folks to come back at least give them something to speak of for the 30$ they spend! and look at most bad reviews talk about the very small portions surely they know what they are doing and i know as i been a dietary supervisor what a serving size is. also there is zero itemized bill it’s all their scribble and says nothing bout the cost of any scribble mark on it they need to give tickets that are computer generated so folks can add up their ticket and see why it costs so much...
