As other reviewers have said, the Maridon Museum is an absolute gem of a museum. Though the museum is fairly small, the quality of the collection is astounding. We spent more than an hour there marveling at the incredible craftsmanship of the ivory and jade carvings and the porcelain collection. Everything is beautifully displayed and illuminated, with mirrored cabinets for many of the smaller items, allowing visitors to see the backs of the pieces as well as the fronts. The jades are breathtaking and the Ivory pieces are all so beautifully done. I love the huge wall with the netsuke collection. I find something new on that wall every time.
