This is a wonderful hike with plenty of trees and shade. It is all uphill from this point towards saddleback road, and according to the signs it is about 3.3 miles to the road. Be aware that there is no service for most of the hike so come prepared with water and snacks if you need. It is moderate in intensity but can be done by anyone as long as you pace yourself.
