One of the best parks in Santa Cruz. You can hike up to the top of the hill and further, play soccer, baseball, kickball, pass or anything else that you can think of. There is an incredible amount or space so social distancing won't be a problem at all. The picture was taken at the top of the hill and is of the top portion of the park, the lower part is where the playground is which has a big metal slide, bridges, swings the whole nine as well as a separate section for younger kids. Pack a lunch and some activities because if it's your first time going there you'll want to spend the whole day exploring and enjoying the many things to do at this park. I rate 5 out of 5 stars!

What a gem! My kids absolutely loved this playground/park. It has everything they could want. Swings, slides, jungle gyms, monkey bars, play structures, bridges, a zip line contraption, etc. There are clean bathrooms, plenty of picnic areas to choose from, huge grassy areas for your dogs to run around. Above the playground area is a soccer/football field, baseball fields, and tennis courts. The playground area is quite large. There were a ton of kids there, all friendly and having fun. The playground is wood chip based. There is also handicapped parking available.

Very cool park. Has some unique and fun features. Love that it has a large side for little kids and so many great things for the bigger kids. Not a criticism of the park itself, but there were a few 7 to 8 year old kids causing some issues, especially with the large slide and they didn't seem to have parents anywhere. Could be a one off, but I think it's good to know if you have kids a little younger like I do. Overall a great park and had good picnic spots too.

This park has five main areas. The lowest level has a large green field, for free play, training dogs etc., two childrens' play structures and a large roofed gazebo with tables and barbecue ovens. The second level sports playing fields for soccer, baseball and softball plus a measured path around the perimeter for walking. There is also easy access to the high school grounds for additional walks after school hours and rabbit watching at twilight. The third level is a wild area with easy and steep trails. For those with strong legs and lungs the highest trail rewards climbers with a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay. Be aware that you are sharing this part of the park not only with small animals and a variety of birds but also coyotes and possibly mountain lions. Thus it is wise to leash your dogs, especially late in the day. All in all the Anna Jean Cummings Park, (locally known as Blue Ball Park - you'll figure out why when you visit), has something for...

This is one of the best parks in Santa Cruz county. The iconic blue skyballs, the enormous slide for kids, the 4 gazebos for parties, the huge field, the 2 levels of the park. It is amazing. The park is meant for everyone. If you're bringing kids, there's a playground and large slide, with gazebos and trees to leave your stuff at. If you're working out, there's an enormous hill you can run up to really break a sweat. If you're a youth sports team, there's a baseball diamond and soccer goals in the upper section that are great. Oh, and as a little bonus they have...
