Good food, unsatisfactory service. I made a pit stop with my partner in an attempt to try a local restaurant during our long drive, and we found this place. We got our plates and the food was great... until we found a rope/tie for tortillas in my partners plate of food about halfway through our meal. I alerted the waiter, but was only met with apologies about the issue. I asked about a discount (the minimum for a foreign object in someone's plate of food), then the waiter went to ask an older waitress what to do. Maybe they didn't think I spoke spanish, but I heard in the discussion that my partner "almost finished the plate" and we got only $5 off the whole check. Stopped by this place on our way to Carmel. My boyfriend ordered the Huarache and I ordered the flautas and two tacos as well. The Huarache was delicious the cactus on top was delicious plus the green sauce was to die for. The flautas were really good authentic and everything tasted very homemade the pastor was amazing. Will definitely be going back to this place when we are in the area again. Understaffed and lacks customer service. Did a take out order, asked to mix and match Flautas with chicken and beef. One server said its fine and other server refused and said we can only do 1 meat kind coz its too busy. Very odd! I asked which protein is more flavourful, she said chicken. I wish I did not listen to her. Chicken was extremely bland and unflavoured. Most half cooked tastlesss meal I have ever had.
