The Bagelry Soquel — Restaurant in California

The Bagelry in Soquel, well, any Bagelry, really. They have multiple locations, and some of their bagels are also carried in select coffee shops around town. I know Java Junction is one of them. Other Bagelry locations are in downtown Santa Cruz and in the Seabright area in midtown.

They have lots to choose from. They make their own flavored cream cheeses. My favorite bagel is a toasted garlic bagel with half cheese Louise and half tomato herb.

They also make some delicious soups and bagel sandwiches, or you can build your own. They have lots of add-ons available to make pretty much whatever kind of bagel your heart desires.

Extremely rude staff with poor hygiene. No one had hair up or gloves and smelled foul and never once washed hands in between certain unsanitary tasks while preparing food. The food was extremely cold and stale, The restrooms are discriminated against the high school students next door considering an employee told me about it when I asked to use the restroom, as a mother of 4 that was unsettling to hear and it made me uncomfortable considering the statement was completely out of context. Only 6 types of bagels available, which is pretty odd for a place that only sells bagels. I just got one of their basic flavors. Smallest bagels I have ever seen but I still had hope they might taste good. Sadly, my bagel was flavorless. The others in my group tried the bagels with egg and cheese, and were also disappointed by the taste of the plain bagels.
