Mary Van Dyke Park — Attraction in California

The park is at El Monte California. A very nice park to let your child play. The park is very clean, organized and you really get to enjoy with your family. We do parties here every month with family. It's a very small park. It has 2 basketball court, The grass area is kept clean and on it it has two baseball field, It also has a way to get out from the grass area if you dont feel like walking to the front. It all depends wrer you are park at. A gazebo with 6 tables, outside has 7 tables outside to sit at and watch your babies play or just to chill. Bathrooms are clean for man 2 stalls & women 2 stalls and 2 water bottle refill stations. They also have a little house for a party. Both places can be rented out. We rented both and we love it.

There are two playgrounds in the same area. One for ages 5-12 years old and another for 3-5 years old. There’s a cushioned mat for the playground area. They just build it 4 months ago. It use to be sand back then.

The playground has rock climbing structure that connects to the playground. There are 2 baby swings and 2 regular swings.

Parking is on the street in front of the park entrance on Central Ave or you can park in the back residential street where it’s a dead end and they also have across the street in from of the park a daycare where you can park all the way in the back.

The track is pretty neat for kids. On the cement, there are words and symbols for the kids to do. Such as, count, hop, jump, and also...

Love this like private intimate park. My family rented out the rec room of the park it was the perfect space for our party. Out one door was the playground. Out the other was the picnic tables (we rented), was able to bring our rented jumper, display our pumpkin patch, n layout activities for the kids, n do a traditional pinatas.
