I live in PA, where there is no sales tax on shoes. However, JoyBadminton overcharged me and refused to refund the sales tax despite multiple email exchanges. Their accounting department incorrectly classified my Yonex Power Cushion 65 Z3 as a specialty sports shoe subject to sales tax. In their screenshot, you can see that bowling shoes, golf shoes, cleats etc. require sales tax, but the shoes I purchased are not specialty sports shoes. When I buy from Nike, they don’t charge sales tax. They claimed badminton shoes are court shoes so sales tax applied. But you can buy tennis shoes from Nike without sales tax, which is also court shoes. When I bought the same Yonex shoes from Amazon, they didn't charge sales tax neither. So Joybadminton's excuses to overcharge me sales tax is wrong I am filing formal complaints with the CA tax department and my credit card company to dispute the charge, and I will not buy from JoyBadminton again. Badminton Warehouse does not charge sales tax for PA residents, so they will get all my business instead.

I waited 2 months to get a pre-order racquet. I have to follow up back to back and all they have to say was about the supply chain issue. Finally, they shipped my order and I have to again follow up because my package was stuck during transit for a week. After all this it reached me and I have to pay a customs fee for it again. So please keep this in mind if you are placing an order from another country. I was happy to receive the product I ordered even after paying the customs fee and I opened the package and found out a part of the order is missing. I contacted customer care and they royally ignored my concern. They were responding to me till the previous day though. Anyways I'm happy with the product and I was happy with the customer service in the beginning but not in the end. *Review update after contacting customer care. They have sent me the missing order. Appreciate your response to my feedback. Thank you.

Purchased Yonex badminton shoes from JoyBadminton, and after only a couple of games a bubble popped at the front. When I reached out to the store, I was told I might have to pay 30% of the original price (warranty handling fee, return fee, etc.) just for a possible replacement, with an ETA of 8–10 weeks. Very disappointing experience with both the product quality and the retailer’s response. Hard to believe this is the standard from Yonex or an authorized seller. The most “creative” suggestion I received was to buy another pair in the meantime until this gets resolved. Be Careful, especially if you’re placing the order online

This is my 7th purchase and 4th purchase of Yonex shoes. Yonex shoes is great shoes but this store is just so wonderful. I wish I could visit the store but we are in NYC so purchase is only on-line. It's little extra thing they do to pack it and small gift to appreciate our purchase. Unfortunately we are table tennis player so interest is only shoes. You can imagine what type of people owns this business and makes us feel good to purchase items from this store. This time, I purchased Yonex shoes to play table tennis Loved it but size was too small. Before I knew it, my husband teared the box, I gave up returning it. Ordered new one and Love my New Yonex Shoes. I decided to send wrong size one back since I cannot use it, attached Note clearly said, "NOT requesting refund. maybe you can find someone who can use this size." Later I learned that fully refunded to my credit card. This place now is the first place to visit for shopping, EXCELLENT customer service !!!

Purchased Yonex Nanoray 10F & Yonex Nanoflare Drive. We LOVE them !! Needed something since Gym has been closed due to Covid. I have no experience and not sure if I should have gone for lower priced ones. I'm glad I spent little more and went for Yonex. This store has GREAT Price and selections. They are so light and so much fun to play...

Pre-ordered a limited edition One Piece racket back in September and they changed the estimate arrival date on me 3 times... I got it almost 3 months LATE. First, they said it would arrive very soon, then in mid October. Then, they changed it to "by November 25". End of November came and, surprise surprise, I contacted them and they said it'll actually arrive in December. In December, they ended up calling me asking if I can accept another person's canceled order of the same racket, but different strings. I had to accept it because, at that point, I had no idea when my racket would actually come... To make matters worse, when I finally received the racket, the box was ripped/ damaged. The outside box was not damaged, so it was definitely ripped before they sent it to me. This is probably why the previous customer canceled/returned their order. This is a special edition so of course I want to keep the box as part of my collection. I tried to ask for a replacement box, but they kept changing the date on me just like how they did for my racket preorder. They eventually just stopped responding to my emails and never sent me my replacement box. Shady business. Please go support somewhere more honest and...

Very disappointed with my purchase and customer service experience at joybadminton.com. I ordered a 'limited edition' badminton bag that cost $30 more than the regular version in the same product line. However, the product description on their website was inadequate and misleading – I discovered after receiving it that this more expensive limited edition actually lacks the thermal protection feature that comes standard in the regular version. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they showed no understanding or willingness to address my concerns. Their return policy is also problematic - I'm required to pay for return shipping myself, plus they charge a 15% restocking fee, which seems excessive for an unopened bag that requires minimal handling to restock. For a specialty badminton retailer, I expected much better product descriptions and customer service. The lack of clear information about product features, combined with their unsympathetic customer service response and costly return policy, makes it impossible for me to recommend this retailer. Save yourself the hassle and...
