Hoopers Island Oyster Co. — Attraction in Cambridge

Wow! The oysters just arrived! The ice packs are still icy—one almost still a solid block. Thank you! Thank you so much! I have my recipes ready. I love them fried. I am originally from Cambridge, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Living in the desert, as I do now, it's been years since I've been able to enjoy a plate of fried oysters. The oysters were delicious! I ate a half pint myself. The first batch I ate standing at the kitchen counter—bachelor-style. For the second batch I sat down at the table and relaxed. I froze part of the 2nd pint in small containers of the liquid so I could enjoy oysters several more times over...

Unabsolutely fantastic find!!! aside from the fresh seafood that you can get in their retail store, they also specialize to the local oyster farmers providing seed oysters for commercial applications as well as the home oyster gardener. I would highly recommend this...
