Visit time: Sunday 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm We arrived 30 mins before they close and the hotel recommended this place for the seafood option. Nice place and took us a minute to find the entrance. When you enter from the first entrance to the parking area, the entrance is the first door in the building. Very clean and nice indoor seating area with decorated walls with signs. We stayed a little bit after they close at 8. Easy way to order the food using a QR code. Took only 5 mins to get the food to the table after we order. Dishes: food was amazingly delicious. All seafood was really fresh. All the dishes we got were equally perfect. The portion is also perfect per person. They had a lot of choices of beer and wine too. Little expensive. But fully worth it. Drinks- beer Corona and IPA drafts and Lemonade Entreè- Crab Cake, Fish and chips, Shrimp Tacos, and the bay on the bun. Staff: staff was very friendly and active. Checked with us multiple times after foods were served. Parking: plenty of parking on site. Covid safety: Cleaning after occupancy. No mask requirements. Dine-in and outdoor seating are available #dmvrestaurants #dmvfood #dmvreviews #marylandresturant #marylandresturantreviews #foodblogger #dinein #bestplacestovisit #bestfood #goodvibes #seafoodrestaurants #dmvfoodiecrew #dmvfoodcritic #resturantreview #visithere #cambridgemd #goodresturantsinmaryland #bestfood #honestopinion #foodmakesmehappy #aftercovid #endofpandemic #visitlocalrestaurants #eatwithme #dcresturants #resturantvisit #makememories #fishandchips #freshseafood #seafoodmenu #rarefind

TLDR: Delicious seafood pit stop on the way or coming home from the beach! Come for the Bay On The Bun and the Grouper Cake Sandwich. Vibe: 5/5. Both inside and outside seating is available and both are nicely decorated to the ever present crab house/nautical theme. Ocean Odyssey uses a completely online ordering system where you scan a table specific QR code and place/pay for your order on a website portal. The system works great and gives you all the options of customization for each food item. Service: 5/5. We were seated immediately and with the online ordering, our food order was done in only a few minutes after getting settled in. Food came out exceptionally fast to the point I was at a fast casual restaurant. This is ideal for those on a road trip looking to get a quick bite in under 30 minutes. Food: 5/5. We ordered the Bay on the Bun (local fried catfish, softshell crab and oysters) sandwich, the Grouper Cake Sandwich and the DoCo Fries with everything turning out great! The Bay On the Bun was obviously huge, nicely breaded and paired well with the Marie rose sauce. However, the Grouper Cake was the unexpected winner of the order. We opted to have the cake pan seared with the Cajun remoulade. Perfectly seared , flaky and well seasoned, I could of eaten several! If you're ever on the way to OCMD and need a quick seafood fix, definitely give Ocean Odyssey a try!

I saw Ocean Odyssey Crab House when researching places to eat while staying a couple of nights in Cambridge. This restaurant was right down the road from our hotel, and their menu looked very appealing. So we we stopped on our first night, and our group had mixed feelings overall. There was an obvious trend that those of us who had seafood dishes, like myself, were very happy with the meal. Those who had chicken or the spring rolls were less than satisfied with the meal. Makes sense as the restaurant is a seafood restaurant, so one would expect the seafood to be good! I had the Bay on the Bun. I took off the greens, but I was very happy with the sandwich. Very delicious. The fried oysters were delicious as well. So, in my opinion, if you go, then try to stick with seafood. I wanted to try the steamed crabs, but pur party was under a little bit of a time crunch. Our service was very good. The waitress was attentive, and staffing was adequate for how busy the restaurant was. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean too. Sadly, we do not have a reason to come to Cambridge Maryland other than this one trip. But if we did co.e back, we would certainly come visit Ocean Odyssey Crab House again. Albeit, a little wiser, and only order the seafood items.

We arrived at approximately 5 pm. Our order was not taken until 5:15 or so. We ordered an appetizer of oysters and for dinner crabs, burger and tacos with chicken instead of fish. There was a 12 minute back and forth discussion of how it would take 30 minutes to put chicken in the tacos rather than fish 🤔. Apparently they had all new cooks that were being trained. After 30 minutes, we asked about our appetizers and the crabs which we were told wouldn't take very long. We got no answer. By 6:15 I found another server and asked if she could help us. She came back about 5 minutes later and said she had to search for our ticket and apologetically said our order hadn't even been started . We obviously walked out. I asked for the owners number and she said she didn't want to bother him in his day off and gave me the tell# to the restaurant and said I should call tomorrow. She did say that she would call him herself about what happened. The cooks had been very uncooperative with regard to replacing the fish tacos with chicken. They literally made a huge fuss about it. It is obvious the cooks buried our ticket. This is literally an embarrassment to the establishment and the cooks on duty tonight should be fired. I expect an establishment with such a good reputation to stand by the customers. It is unbelievable that the cooks would retaliate in such an unacceptable way. Our server was nice but also seemed new and kept telling us our food would out , therefore...
