Sunnyside Farm — Attraction in Camp Verde

Entrance is off E Salt Mine Rd and not well marked. Although there is a deteriorated sign indicating Sunnyside Farm at what appears to be the end of this short dirt road don't take it. The farm is really just to your right as you pass through an opening in a fence. There are 2 residences and several outbuildings. I was directed to drive in maybe 150' and parked on the left just past an old Ford 9/8N tractor. Just don't stop in the middle of their small dirt road you'll likely block someone.

Can't recall the name of the young man who seems to run the operation but he was very friendly. They had a nice selection of chicken & eggs. More costly than store bought, but the quality looks good. Farm raised chicken isn't as tender as the freak strains sold in grocery stores. Don't expect that level...

The chicken is firm and tender with more flavor than store bought. The farm and prorocessing room was very clean and professional. You can order different cutsin largevor small amounts. I ordered a larger order to freeze. The owner is nice and accommodating. You can buy products at the farmers market in Camp Verde...

I didn't know chicken could taste so "chickeny"! The best chicken I have ever had - I also buy their backs, necks, and feet to make fantastic bone broth.
