Beautiful new playground on the Budd Ave. side. Highly recommended for kids of all ages. The parking lot here is not too big, but there are 2 other parking lots if you enter through Rincon Ave, and if you don't mind the walk (1/2 mile). This park is huge with lots of grass, trees, and a long path that takes you from one parking lot to the other. I honestly liked the older playground before they replaced it but this is still a nice place to bring the kids. The addition of a fence is nice, but it also means the kids can't roll down the hill. I also miss the largest Redwood, still don't know why they cut it down, we can always use more shade. The tire swing is a big hit with my 8 year old and the percussion instruments are a nice change of pace.

My kids LOVE this park, but as a parent, this park is a little stressful. The merry-go-round can be brutal with kids trampling each other and getting hurt. I do love how the entire playground is fenced in and all of the play structures are completely new. This park just tends to get very crowded and kids end up getting hurt.
