Great, unsuspecting community farm located right in between the Blue Hills and 93. Farm stand available to the public on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6:30 and Saturdays 9-1. You park near the entrance then walk down the drive a bit and on your right you will see the section for CSA pickup and behind that is a smaller farm stand open to the public. They had nice offerings from both their community farm and other local farms, and the person running the stand was incredibly helpful and nice. You are able to pay using credit card which was a pleasant surprise. This is a DCR property so take advantage of being able to walk around and enjoy the grounds.

We learned all about making syrup; collecting the sap and how Native Americans were the first to discover this could be done. We also got to see and learn all about a barn owl and a red tailed hawk. They also offered a short hay/tractor ride. All around good place, camp fire, muddy, horses and food.

This was my first year getting a CSA share. For 95% of the summer I've had a great experience - the fruit has been delicious and the "pick your own bouquet" field is so much fun. I was happy to spend my money supporting a local farm, especially one that seemingly prides itself on the concept of building community. Unfortunately after the interaction I had with the CSA manager during the last week of my summer share, I will be looking for a new farm to support. I lost my cat of 13 years suddenly the week I was supposed to pick up my last share. I reached out 2 days past my pickup window, explained the situation, and asked if I could pick up my share a little late. I was met with an unequivocal no. I absolutely understand that you agree to a certain pickup window when signing up, but I'm incredibly disappointed with the response I received from this "community" farm given the...

I attended the Maple Sugar Days event. Very educational and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would have liked an opportunity to buy maple products even if they weren't produced on site. They did have food trucks which was great for those who wanted quality food truck...
