Food is mediocre. Deep fried wings come with choices of sauce..I ordered two of them. Very watered down and tasteless whitch was disappointing. I m a lover of a good burger but wasn't thrilled with it. Cooked to perfection nice toasted roll but the meat was tasteless, not sure what coice of meat chosen but not angus beef. Salad was missing cucumbers, onion but their blue cheese dressing was really delicious. Located conveniently right off 138. Not much in the area but perfect for travelers. It’s a Irish pub. Great cold beers. Typical bar food. Great fish and chips.!!!! they’re the traditional Boston, fish and chips. In the winter, I love going there for the pot pie or shepherds pie. Pizza is a great. The steak tips are juicy tender, large serve of mashed potatoes and a vegetable. The bartenders definitely know how to make a drink. Plenty of parking. Their beers always very cold. I’m probably shooting myself in the foot reviewing Hillside, because I really don’t want more people to know about this largely hidden gem. A cozy Irish pub in the truest sense of the word, filled with locals from Canton to Donegal. Super-efficient, friendly staff who have your well-poured beverage waiting for ya the moment you walk in. Food is amazingly all homemade in the teeny kitchen, from the turkey soup to delicious sandwiches to the tasty bar pizzas. And a fantastic value, too.
