Fenced in, partially covered playground. It's much bigger than I thought. Seems to be well maintained (colors on playscape are fading but no trash or broken slides, swings, etc). I was happy to see they had slides of various heights and widths. I think there were 4 toddler swings, 4 regular swings, one with a plastic, pullover harness, and 2 swings for an adult and an infant. My LO is 2 and she easily climbed much of the playscape, loved the swings, and the colors. I wasn't a fan of the wood chips as my child started tossing those around (My bad).
Just some observations: I didn't realize this was attached to Oasis North. The kids came out and played flag football on one of the numerous fields next to us. There were also some couples playing tennis on the courts. Looks as if bathrooms are public. (I did not go in to look at cleanliness) and at one point there was a concessions stand (and there still maybe but not while I was there on a Monday). They have a soda and water vending machine. It was lit up, but I'm not sure if it works. There also was a non-touch water fountain. Parking was no problem and we essentially had the playground to ourselves at around 11 am.
We will definitely visit again as I like this playscape better than others. I would recommend this playground for young toddlers and infants or any child who likes to climb and go down slides. It is located about 10 minutes by car for...
Read moreI love the family atmosphere. They have clean restrooms most of the time. The sink area is a little old and has water stains. It is a safe place for children to have fun and exercise while parents talk to other adults The basketball court is always full with teenagers. The tennis court is nice. Some of the soccer field are usually close for maintenance half of the year. The neighborhood is nice. While some home owners from the houses in front of the park call the local police if you park across the street from their house (like they own the park) others are kind enough to offer you theirs home drive way to park your vehicle when ever you want. No need for this since it has a big parking lot. The baseball field is always ready to be used. I see it occupied only a couple of times a year people practicing but I have never seen a baseball game...
Read moreThe park isn't being well maintained. The basketball players curse loud for the kids to hear in the park and they leave their kids in the play area unsupervised to do as they please to your kid. We Left abruptly last time due to an incident where chocolate milk was being thrown on children. I just don't need to be in an altercation with other parents because they don't see throwing chocolate milk on others as being wrong. The city needs to station a ranger here for supervision of the many unsupervised children and the low class adults that come here. They also need to perform maintenance to this park to make it look somewhat like it used to. It used to be great. Now it looks worn and it's a risk going with the types of people that hang out their. Cmon' Cape Coral.... Step up...
