I am not sure what went wrong with my order?! Food was dry and bland, Ordered 2 sushi rolls and 2 teriyaki (chicken). I was asked if I wanted sweet Or soy sauce? I said one of each I guess( first time at this establishment) woman on phone said the yummy yummy sauce was separate and they would put in the bag, to mix ourselves. Upon opening bag one container said chicken on lid other said teriyaki. There was no discernible sauce on either. Dry dry dry, I called to question, and was told the yummy yummy sauce was for hibachi. We had nothing, no packets of soy sauce, no containers of teriyaki sauce nothing. Two large containers of dry vegetables and dried out chicken breast. This was 3/4 filled with fried rice. It did not occur to ask, and I did not have a menu. I have never ordered a teriyaki bowl Anywhere, and not received teriyaki sauce at least On the food, and white sticky rice is the standard I believe. I am aware you can ask for fried rice if a restaurant serves multiple styles of Asian food, but my “bad” I assumed white rice. Inedible. 2 sushi rolls for 9$ 6 pieces each diameter of a nickel. Better Sushi at Publix on Sushi Wednesday and again smallest dot of wasabi and No soy sauce, none. Extremely disappointed and the 30$ I spent was honestly hard earned, After the anger of growing it out, I wanted to cry. Ownership can reply to message, I would appreciate refund, let me know, I will text...
Read moreYummy is an absolute hidden gem for the area! Quietly tucked away in an unassuming plaza, the explosion of flavors within their dishes came as a complete surprise!
The menu comes off wide and varied, so after some debate we settled with two sushi rolls and the mobo ramen since ramen is incredibly rare to find in the area. We were simply blown away by the freshness of the ingredients on the rolls and the crispy roll was fried to perfection. There was a nice delicate balance so the flavors were enhanced without being overpowered by any cooking oils.
The star of the show had to be the ramen! The sauce is a current popular Thai spiced fusion with traditional ramen roots. This dish will absolutely clear your sinuses in the best of ways! The combination of the spice with the ramen and the texture balance from the bamboo shoots really plays well with the dish.
We had the fried donuts as dessert and once again we took note of the delicate balance of how well they were fried. Mind you we aren't even dessert people normally, but we are here!
Overall this was an incredibly delicious experience from start to finish. They do need to update their menu online with descriptions of their dishes, and pictures being more accurately correlated with the dish by the listing. It's a bit of a nitpick, but I don't want them missing out on sharing their delicious flavor profiles with...
Read moreMy wife and I can’t stay away from Yummy Yummy. We went on a Saturday about 4 months ago, and have been back every Saturday since.
Our chief complaint with most restaurants in the area is the lack of consistency, and that’s not an issue here at all—every time we go, the food is exactly the same. The ingredients are fresh and it’s made the same way every time. We really appreciate that about Yummy Yummy—we always know what to expect and they always deliver on that.
The service is outstanding as well. We always get the same waiter, a really nice kid (pictured in someone else’s review) and we’d be sad if we didn’t.
We’re not really adventurous eaters and don’t like anything raw, so we get the same thing every time: Cucumber Avocado rolls, hibachi chicken bowls, house salads, and fried donuts. All of it is amazing and well made.
My only nit-pick would be that there always seems to be a fly or two buzzing around in the place, but with how often the front door opens and closes I can’t see how that could be avoided.
We’re big fans of Yummy Yummy and will be regulars for years to come. Highly...
