I have not been to this facility in years. Stopped in to fax a large document. The staff was amazing - welcoming and walked me through the entire process. Then she patiently looked up my address to quote what my out-of-city limits cost would be to join the library. Not for one moment was I made to feel that I was taking too much of her time. $155 for a library card if you live “out of the district”. Ridiculous 5 miles from town and this is the fee. No wonder so many people are uneducated and have no hope of getting access to books. Friendly staff, enormous selection of books. Great for free wifi, comfortable seats to sit & read or surf the net on your phone or their computers for hours.
