It’s called TASTY HOUSE 1 it’s a Korean seafood restaurant but they have so much other stuff including bubble tea and so much more! It’s in Carol stream, Illinois! #seafoodboil #koreanfood #chicago #chicagofood #foodie #hotpot #chicagoland

I go here a few times a week to walk my dog, but a lot of people ride their bikes through it, partly because it connects to Mitchell Lakes and Veterans Park behind the Village Center. Armstrong is nicely paved with lots of Great Blue Heron, Great Egrets, and Mallard ducks in the mini-marshes on its south side. It has sand volleyball, basketball courts, baseball fields, and two playgrounds.

Nice place for a softball tournament. Fields are well maintained. The only minuses for this location are the bathrooms are too far away from the fields and there are not enough garbage cans within the entire complex. People were resorting to throwing trash in the bathrooms and port-o-potties. Other than that, nice park for baseball and softball games.

I’m not gonna lie this place was amazing growing up. 2007-2015 was amazing. Once kids world was gone nothing was the same. I tried reliving the fun on the new parks but it wasn’t the same. 2016-2021 were okay years I never really had fun there. I’d always walk through the park on the way home from middle school. The only fun thing was the pavilion. Everything else was just plain boring. Now that they’re cutting down trees for the stream bank stabilization it’s just turning into an ugly park. Being able to see the library and the apartments from Roy is just not right. My middle school years of walking through the path of trees is now gone. And now the one the side of Mitchell lakes being torn apart and drained and weeds being put in is sad. Everything about my childhood is gone. I made a lot of memories here from school trips to kids world. To enjoying peaceful walks home from school. Now to not even been to the park in over a year in a half. I sadly will miss what this...

I live a few blocks away and walk my dog thru the park daily. Park has gone thru some updating recently consisting of... new asphalt walkways ( some with new lighting), new upper ball field, new upper play area (removed the old castle park), new bathroom facilities and drainage improvements meant to relieve the surrounding area from heavy rains. The park is busy during the spring, summer and fall with baseball, basketball and families. Nice park next to library and schools. The park district could have installed more lighting along the walkways for night time walking or running. Otherwise nice...
