Bomb Nail Bar — Local services in Carol Stream

Some people seem kind of stuck up near the front. The younger girls. More involved in their conversations and phone than taking care of customers. The 2 ladies in their own rooms and the ones towards the back seem to be the more mature and down to business! My nails were pretty! But they did not last. It was my first time and I’m big on first impressions. The host didn’t do her job on customer service to me. As my first time I should have been put with one of the best. First impressions baby!! But instead I was given a young lady who took over 3 hours on a fill!! I didn’t care she was 19 because I support no matter but that’s only if you're good. I didn’t have my fill in a week and 4 already broke while I was doing nothing and the rest are already lifting! I was charged $100 for an extra long fill that took over 3 hours that did not last a week. But the place is a nice vibe lol. Maybe I got a bad tech. I forgot her name but she was sitting at the second booth. I did call to try to fix it when I seen all my nails were falling off in days but the only response they told me was to make an appointment next time and they can get me in 3 days later with an experienced tech since mine was not too experienced. Why is she working there if she is not too experienced?!! I see different people on a regular for work and I could not wait 3 more days to get the nails fix that the broke because of the inexperienced nail tech. I had to go back to my fav Top Nail Bar and they got me right in and my nails lasted! I always go to Top Nail Bar but my reg tech was on vacation i tried to try a different salon. So my nails before the fill were from them and lasted over 4 weeks and I went back to them after failing at Bomb Nail Bar and they were good for another month! It was obviously the nail tech at Bomb Nail Bar. Sorry. Just hire experienced nail techs and not people coming home from college for break just trying to earn some extra money. Obviously it's...

Well, where do I start. I'm a man. I'm 33 and this is my first time ever getting one of these pedicures. I went with a close friend of mine who booked it for me.. When I tell you this was the best feeling my feet have ever felt, I mean the absolute best. The woman who works there, Cassie is her name, she was sent from the heavens to bless my legs and feet. That woman went above and way beyond any of my expectations. What I thought was the deluxe was apparently the basic. When she told us what the actual deluxe was I'm like do it. My legs haven't felt this good since I retired from football in 2017. I left there feeling re-energized and fresh. As for the cleanliness. These women keep the shop clean and the vibe is super relaxing. Did I mention the massage chair?? No?? Well they got em. Anyway, overall 5 stars. Definitely...

I came into this nail place as a walk in asking for my acrylics removed and a regular manicure. The lady doing my nails asked me if I’d like to do a “dry manicure” for the same price as what I was originally going to get, so I agreed to it because why not. When she’s all done, she tells the lady ringing me up to charge me for a no chip manicure which is $15 more than a regular. She did not do what I asked of her which was a $20 manicure as listed on their website prices. I also got these nails done 6 days ago and 3 nails have already chipped.
