Lock City Adventures - Carrollton (Escape Rooms) — Attraction in Carrollton

Love, love, LOVE Lock City Adventures. Everything about this place is awesome!! Whether it’s the adventures or the staff itself. They work hard to make this a 5 star establishment. My friends and I went to go do their newest room today and it was a blast. We’ve done all of their other attractions from the rage rooms to all of the other escape rooms. This room is the only one we haven’t been able to complete. The puzzles are fun yet challenging. We will definitely be coming back some time in the near future to figure out the rest of the room. Not only was the room amazing but the staff were phenomenal. Dana was our game master today and she was very attentive with us. Whenever we got stuck on something (or messed with something we shouldn’t have messed with haha) she was always there trying to help us out to the best of her abilities. She is the sweetest. Scheduled a time for my child to celebrate their birthday & invite their friends. I scheduled 3 for our time, as I called in advance to see how they accepted reservations and they seemed very nice & stated when I arrived I could add or reduce the amount in my party. I didn’t sign up as a “birthday party” as we didn’t have 10 participants and I didn’t know what this entailed.

After I arrived, other parents came up to me to let me know they had paid & when I asked the staff, they shrugged & said instead of refunding them, I could cash app everyone. Other other parents stated when they arrived earlier, they were instructed to “line up & pay”. I paid for the remaining 4 of 7…I felt like this was unprofessional, as I had made the reservation and they didn’t even bother to contact me or ask. Be aware if you schedule a time and want to extend payment to cover your party.

I had the pleasure of working as a game master for the escape rooms at this location. I have to say it was the best job I have ever had. One time there was a prop in one of the rooms that i was not strong enough to lift up (im 100 pounds) and the CEO of the company remade the prop so that it would go up and down with a remote. This is a company that you want to spend your money with. Lock city adventures is a company that cares. Ive never worked for a company that understood my mental health problems and worked around my college schedule before i found this job. Lock city adventures is a company that treats everyone with respect and DOES NOT discriminate. Working at this company i felt like i had a second family.
