On our most recent visit, my three year old son spent lovely hours playing with me in the giant sandbox. Nice place for an outdoor picnic. The Greenway is nice for walking, bicycle riding, and/or tricycle riding. My son had a playdate with a friend who had a bicycle with training wheels too. It is nice that the water fountain also has a filtered water station for refilling any size of water bottle. The restroom is right there. The Greenway goes to the pedestrian bridge over the highway and to the Kids Together Playground, colloquially called dragon park!

MacDonald Woods park and over by the Kids Together Playground are also great places in Cary to...

I like the vibe here. The play equipment feels more spaced out than other playgrounds, so I don't feel my toddler ‘gets in the way’ of bigger kids moving much faster than her. A greenway passes nearby so you get lots of runners, dog walkers, cyclists, etc. which we enjoy. It makes the location feel more communal than other parks. My rating of 4 stars is due to what others have already mentioned; there's street parking only and not in marked spaces. The access road is in a neighborhood so there's little traffic but you may have to parallel park if there are many other...

Very cute and well maintained play area/park. The grounds around the playsets are rubberized adding a nice comfortable feel underfoot. There's a couple swing sets, two age-appropriate playset areas and a sandpit. There is also a separate area for sitting/eating. Biggest downfall is lack of restrooms. Nowhere to wash hands or relieve tiny bladders - bring a potty seat or teach your kids to pop a squat. Otherwise a nice place to spend an hour...

Let me preface this review with saying- we love us some triangle parks! This park is so cool! My kids are 5 & 3 and they love this park. It has a sand pit (their fave), a play set, swings, a see saw, and those spinner chair things. Lots of places to sit, highly recommend! Lots of places to walk! It even has a basketball court and a walking trail. I believe this park connects to the kids together park on the interstate and through the woods.

Wonderful, perfect for smaller kids. My GPS did say that I arrived, but I didn’t see the park until a drown about a block further. The park has bathrooms, benches, a basketball court, walking paths, a field to run around and is also wheelchair accessible. The only downside is that this park doesn’t have a parking lot, it’s street parking only.

We made some squirrel friends the other day at MacDonald Woods Park lol! We've gone here a few times. There was some sand and debris in the park from the recent rain storms, but otherwise it's a really nice park and we have a lot of fun every time we go. It's usually pretty quiet here and the trail is nice as well!
