World's Largest Rocking Chair — Attraction in Casey

The rocking chair was so cool! Made me feel like a little kid again. Also visited the world's largest wind chime and world's largest teeter totter. The world's largest wind chime had a little gift shop. While the town of Casey gave a warm welcome the people in the shop did not. they seemed annoyed at my friend and I service... Only that but just our presence. When we walked in we were greeted by maybe one of the three people that were working. I was very polite and used ma'am when I asked where the restroom was and she sighed... Been very quietly said right over there and turn around to point it. When we went to check out she said "oh wow". And it wasn't an excitement like you would think because my friend and I were purchasing quite a few wind chimes. We spent over $100 in wind chimes and we were over the moon. They're bad attitudes did not stop us from having fun. Very disappointed because there is a lot of Bible verses not only throughout the town but even in the shop. I can't help but think this is why I separated from the church. I felt judged and...

So cool! The whole town is such a wonder! It is great talking to the locals to hear the stories behind all of the attractions there. It all started with the wind chime and took off from there. He is actually working on more of them! Road trip there and you can spend a couple hours just checking out all the Guiness World Record holding attractions and the other big attractions there. The Largest mailbox, you can actually send mail from it and they have a special postmark when you do it. We bought postcards from the local shops and sent them home but when we visit again we'll be sure to send them out to friends and family. The largest wooden shoes, you can throw change in it to be collected for charity. The big birdcage, you can sit and swing. All the largest and big builds are so neat to see and the grounds around them are so well kept. We also did some shopping in the town and met wonderful people along the way. Can't wait to go back and take my kids...

The World's Largest Rocking Chair, World's Largest Wind Chime, Barber Pole, Pencil, Seesaw - OMG Casey has it all! Why doesn't the whole country know the name of this town?! Seriously, it think that they should at least mention it in schools.

While driving my son across the country we regularly joked about seeing the "Worlds Largest" something. It's an old movie trope. When we saw the signs for Casey, we HAD to stop and we were not disappointed. Other reviewers will tell you the dimensions and facts about the Worlds Largest Rocking Chair, so I won't bother. What I will tell you is that this is a fun little town that knows how to not take itself, and presumably life in general too seriously.

I highly recommend to turn off your news radio, put down your phone and pull off the highway. Come to Casey and experience a little of the lighthearted whimsey that is the heartland of this great...
