This evening I took my daughter to practice volleyball. The park has no volleyball courts so we utilized the racquet ball court as it is a no reservation first come first serve court. Upon mine and my daughter’s arrival the court was occupied. We politely asked if they were just getting started or wrapping up. The 2 young ladies and young man were polite and let us know they were wrapping up. While we patiently waited for the court to open back up we used the tennis courts. When the court opened we went in and I started practicing with my daughter. The couple proceeded to be aggressive blocking the door to the court. The woman proceeded to come inside and yell at me telling me we needed to leave the court. Asking me if this Is this the example I want to set for our daughter. Lady 100% I refuse to allow two grown adult bullies to push us off a court we patiently waited to be open as it is first come first serve. Read moreI recently visited Lou Gardens with my four-month-old for their monthly storytelling session, and it was an experience to remember! Although we arrived super late, the staff was kind enough to still let us in. The session was absolutely wonderful—a lively and engaging performer with a guitar captivated the children with songs, dances, and playful interactions. The energy was contagious, making everyone laugh and clap, even my four-month-old was enthralled by the joyful atmosphere.
After the storytelling, we strolled through the gardens, which offered a serene and peaceful environment. The beauty of the lush plants and calming pathways was perfect, and my baby even drifted off to sleep, soothed by the music and surrounded by nature’s tranquility. The best part? This amazing experience was free! I can’t wait to come back and make this a monthly outing for us. Highly recommend Lou Gardens for parents and...
