3-2-2016 My husband and I took a vacation to AZ, and found this quirky shop. I bought a couple items, one being a hanging glass bulb. The sales lady helping us (I'm assuming she was the owner, I never got her name) told me for a few extra dollars they could put a light fixture in it. She then asks me if I could come back and pick it up latter. I explained to her we were from out of town. She then yells for one of the Hispanic employees to "come here!" And asks him (in a tone you'd use when scolding your dog) if he had time to do it. He hesitated and said yes. I told her it was ok if they didn't have time. She then demands (in the same hateful tone) "You do now!" She then told me to not stand around her counter... I wanted to make sure I was there when the gentleman came back with my light to thank him. So I asked the (owner?) If everything in the store was from local artist's? She quickly answered NO, and told me everything was from Mexico, except a couple artist's, one being "full of himself". I stepped outside and commented to my husband what a b*tch this women was, and that I planned to tip the employee. My husband said "He wont take it." When the employee returned with my lamp, I thanked him and offered him the tip. He shook his head no, and insisted I stepped away from him. I could only imagine he feared the rath of this nasty women. While I was trying to tip the employee, this women had placed a light bulb in the lap, to show me that it worked. I told her I didn't need the light bulb and feared that it might break on tje way back to WA. She told me "I'm not giving you the light bulb, it doesn't come with it." Wow... I thanked the gentleman again for his rush on putting the light fixture in. He nodded and walked away. I gathered up my stuff and made it a point to tell the (owner?) To thank him again for me. She glared at me and walked away. Moral of my story? This place might be "inexpensive" but consider the price she has on her...
