I love stopping here every time my Wife and I visit Cave Creek (pretty often I might add)… this place brings out the Cowboy Child in me, even at 70 I still have fun at this place, even if my adult side enjoys visiting the shops and the eats there. From their advertising, it seems Frontier Town was here even before Cave Creek was incorporated, so you do get to experience a blast from a historical past. The fun, quaint and obscure little old town main street have you pass not just shops but gallows a funny little boot hill cemetery and bunch of other fun ditties making fun of our Western past – in a good way! This is a fun place to enjoy, chill and browse. I highly recommend it and try frequenting the shops, they rotate much of their stock, every time we visit, we find something else to walk away...
Read moreThere's a medium-sized dirt lot to park off-street (next to the Coyote Creek shop), and there is also some parking along the street as well. The town is pretty small and if you are just walking through it, it would probably take 15-20 minutes to walk the whole area, but there's a lot to see. I spent about half an hour here- similar to reviewer below. There's a few gift shops here that sell candles, goat milk lotions, and a spices shop. At the back there's a small pond and a cute bridge to cross it. In the center of the "town" there are some replicas of historic Old West buildings that you can walk in - great photo opps. Scattered throughout were old-looking trucks and buildings and funny signs. Best sign was "Complaint department 200 miles away." Very cute...
Read moreThis is an odd place. It looks like a tourist attraction, but it's actually a group of small shops. The shops are an odd mix. You have a bunch of tourist stuff, that you can find anywhere, and then a couple of neat finds.
The must go shop is the goat milk place. They have a bunch of soaps, balms, and everything else that goat milk can go into. They actually have some really nice stuff.
The other shop I hit is the hot sauce shop. They have a decent selection, but it's stuff that is widely available. It's still fun to go in.
They do have bathrooms here but they are not air conditioned. They get pretty ripe in the summer.
If you are looking to kill time, this is a good place...
