Beware of burmuda you buy from them. Black mountain sold to Santa Maria feed. Burmuda quality very inferior. You are charged for top quality green fresh horse burmuda But you get low quality dry brittle cattle burmuda with foreign material inside. Long thick stems. From other crops on field. I called them & was told they’d call back. They did not. So I’m stuck with $600 worth feed that could hurt my horses. Most feed stores would come pick it up & replace it. They did not even return my call. So all I can do is warn others. UPDATE 24 hrs later. Owner of feed store did finally call back after reading review. She said she would replace the 15 bales I bought. Within few hrs she came to my farm with the Delivery truck. She sent me pictures of the new hay she was going to replace with since I couldn’t be there. Much better than original hay. Others at farm agree replacement was improvement. Black Mountaun feed is in Cave Creek, I've been too this store just a handful if times, enough to leave a huge impression, I typically shop for my horses needs at their sister store (Santa Maria Feed) in Laveen. But ever so often I like to venture out further to Black Mountain Feed. They have so much stuff!!! I bought 4 real cow hide throw pillow covers and love them, well made and beautiful, they have a large area for home decor. All their feed is impeccable. Lee Banning and his beautiful wife Nicole Banning are the owners of both of these stores. They grow the highest quality of hay you can find.
