📍 A Special Visit to a New Mosque on Friday: I was planning to attend Friday prayer at the mosque near my residence, but a relative suggested that I visit another, larger mosque instead. This mosque also offers three different sermon times, which gave me the chance to explore a new place and meet new people.

🚗 I made my way there and arrived within half an hour. The sermon had already started, so I prayed and stayed until the end of the prayer. The mosque is very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with dedicated areas for women and children — a welcoming environment for all.

🛍️ After the prayer, I was pleasantly surprised to find people outside selling a variety of homemade cooked meals, adding a warm, social touch to the overall experience.

They need to clean this place, it always smells bad. They collect millions worth of donations but nobody knows what they do with the money. There is no facial tissue during the Friday prayers!if somebody needs to blow his nose, how he is going to blow his nose? The board members can hardly speak English, and they don't know anything about running a mosque. They have safety hazards in different areas of the masjid, and they won't do anything about it ; they think they are immune from lawsuits. If somebody gets hurt, they are going to sue you. All what they want to do is surround the building with so many American flags thinking that's going to protect them ! The only one who can protect you is Allah. If you ask for protection from somebody else other than Allah, then you are hypocrites...

This is my absolute favorite masjid in Austin. The moment you step inside, you feel a deep sense of peace and spirituality. The prayer area is beautifully maintained, offering a serene and welcoming atmosphere for worshippers of all ages. The community here is incredibly warm, respectful, and supportive, making it not just a place to pray but a true spiritual home.
