Bever Park is a Great place to take your kids. Nice large play area, clean with bathrooms. Old McDonalds Farm lets kids pet goats, rabbits, Sully the small tortoise, a cow and they also have unique ducks and i'm sure I missed a couple. Really enjoyable. They accept donations in a little black box many people seem to miss. There is a tiny stream that runs through the park with a bridge and HUGE rock neat to check out. The farm closes at 6:30pm. There is also a pool. There are smaller play areas and pavilions in an upper area of the park that you have to drive past the farm to get to. Hidden and private so not a busy area but back up in the woods. This is a big park with lots to do. Great walking area to take the dogs. Sorry for such a long review but hoping it helps those unaware of the hidden possibilities. Have fun☆P.S. I have No idea how my halloween pics got in...
Read more$1 voluntary donation for admission. Very friendly staff attendants. Remarkably clean and inviting. The petting zoo is as clean as some people's houses and front yards. 25 cent dispensers for a child-hand-sized serving of cracked corn to feed to the petting zoo animals. It takes only 30 to 60 minutes to see everything there, but it can be extended with the nature walk pathway and child-sized peddle tractors and a sandbox filled with whole corn to play in. They haven't had zoo animals like bears, monkeys or lions since the 1980's so don't expect a zoo experience, nor will you find the unpleasant smells of the old...
Read moreThis park has so much to offer including the playground, waterpark, zoo, and a great trail through the woods. There is also a large covered pavilion, and bathrooms. The zoo is great, the playground is great, the walking party was a much needed challenge with the stroller. I'm no very impressed with the bathrooms. While there are gender specific rooms, the stalls inside do not have doors. On one occasion, there was no toilet paper, but there was also a large group at the pavilion. Just be warned, and maybe bring your own backup if the park is busy. Overall, I highly suggest this park...
