I went here for the first time today I really wanted to give 5 stars I felt that Hannah really listened to me and was patient and empathetic to previous experiences at other salons she shaped them how I liked and took time to make sure everything was perfect every step of the way. She was up for trying a new design and took the time to get it perfect even after a few tries she didn’t get frustrated. My nails turned out beautifully crafted. My nails were smooth and clean and I was very pleased
However when it came time for the pedicure it seemed rushed and the towels were cold and wet the water wasn’t very warm and seemed like the lady was multi tasking trying to clean and talk and do things while rubbing my leg instead of the massage it defines in the pedicure details, she only rubbed warm (hot) rocks on my legs very fast for like hardly a minute and basic orange toes …. I chose the $75 one so that I could walk away relaxed and feel better but the pedicure being rushed didn’t make me feel great and wasn’t the $75 quality that was explained in the description.
And then when I went to check out they tried to charge me $225 which would have been $270 with a tip and I was shocked one never seen nails and toes cost this much I typically do an $65 pedicure and my acrylic nails with design and many other places never more than $150 total
I had a hard time with this because the fees were for everything that’s typically included in a manicure like polish removal fee, nail trim fee, nail shape fee, cuticle trim fee, manicure upgrade fee, manicure design fee, pedicure upgrade fee and so on
I really wanted to be a long term customer here because my experience is with Hannah was wonderful but all these back ended fees without being discussed and inaccurate compared to their website and really high comparative to most work I’ve had done there’s no way I can do $600 a month for nails !!
If it was over the top service and work that’s one thing but if it was expected pricing and my choice to add those things on knowing the price that makes sense but to be blindsided with all those fees and rushed through a pedicure at a place called a day spa and supposed to be for relaxation I felt wasn’t fair.
The staff did end up bringing the price down by $25 because I was clearly upset but this was still $225 with tip. The nails Hannah did were great but...
Read moreI want to just start by saying Katie is an amazing nail tech. I have had so many bad experiences and I currently drive 50 minutes just to see her since I moved further away! She pays attention to detail, always knows the style that suits your hands/fingers, the colors I ask for she matches perfectly and she does great designs too.
Secondly, the spa is just beautiful - love the interior decor and lighting and the ambience is great to just unwind and relax while getting a great massage with your pedicure. The manager/owner knows all about exceptional customer service. She goes the extra mile from offering a beverage while getting treatment, better pricing, and so many colors to choose from! I also overheard her take great care of a client one time that wasn't happy with the shape of her nail. She fixed it for her and gave her a discount! The client wasn't even asking for a discount she was happy with the end result!

Read moreMy nails we're done last Monday. By Wednesday they were coming off. When I went in and showed them my chipping nails oh, they added more nail glue. Mya nails began to come off the very next day oh, I've then purchase my own nail glue to keep adding everyday (be same brand of nail glue that they use in the shop), however my nails still managed to fall off by Tuesday. I then went to the shop and had them removed. After advising the manager that my nails fell off and I was not happy with that, she asked me if this was my first time getting my nails done with acrylics which I responded no and then she said I owed $10. I asked why I owe them money for a bad nail job, and she said it's just what we charge. I then said I am not comfortable paying as I did not receive the service I paid for. she said the best she could do is taking off 10%. Yay, I saved a dollar.
