I have been coming since they opened. Service: They have excellent service and are always attentive. The owner Dan always listened to our comments on each dish so he could make the place fit the taste of this neighborhood more he says. He said that he has another location on San Tan Valley that's been open for over nine years! In my opinion, one must really have a passion to open and run a place for that long. Ambience: For Lunch, they keep the blinds open. it's a bright and waking place. For Dinner, they close the blinds to block out the sun and it darkens the place giving it a classy and fancy feels to the place. Dan says the restaurant itself is brand new. Everything is very clean and tidy. Food: I've been here during my business lunch and family dinners. For lunch, they offer a really great deal. I generally get the General Tso's Chicken. The portions are just right. The order comes with fried rice for no extra charge for lunch! usually most places have cheap lunch's but there's hidden charges here and there. But here, most things come already standard on lunch. I LOVE IT! The lunch also comes with a veggie egg roll,a melting hot crab wonton, a salad, and a soup. When I come with my family for dinner the entrees are very hearty. It's a family style where you order two or three and share between each other. My younger cousin's love their Orange, Sesame, and Honey Chicken. My Sister loves the Singapore Rice Noodles. I prefer something of their Chef's Specialty as it lets me try entrees unique to only their restaurant. All the main dishes already come with soup to get your stomach in that mood for warm food which is always nice and a plus. The sauces for each dish is very flavorful. I personally like more sauce so I always ask the server for more. Verdict: This restaurant is on a great start. They listen to feedback from their customers, have excellent service, excellent food, and a nice ambience. Dan has also said that they will start delivery very soon and they already have online ordering available. I've told all my friends to go here at least once to try it out and now I run into them quite often there. Needless to say we are all hooked...
Read moreI ordered a few weeks ago via Grubhub and I'm so dissappointed with the delivery time!
While Grubhub is awesome (I've ordered everywhere), Moon China should be ashamed of themselves for NOT STARTING THE ORDER until the driver gets there.
My driver texted me at the time of pickup stating it was really busy that night with his Grubhub deliveries and the order was placed more than 45 minutes ago when he arrived. When he arrived, the staff "acted" like it's being prepped when in turn, they didn't even start as he had to wait 20 more minutes! They had 45 minutes to get it ready!!!!
C'mon!
If you get a Grubhub order, START IT so we can get our food faster at home. We have ETAs on the app for a reason. He also told me he and many other Grubhub drivers no longer go to this restaurant since it's one of the only places that does this.
I highly advise Grubhub orders to either avoid this place or call right away (Pain in the butt, I know) to make sure it's being prepped or you're waiting...
Read moreI use to like this place but I have to rate it 1 star for the simple fact I watched the cashier lady handle my food with her BARE HANDS and she DID NOT wash them before or wore gloves. I lefted but then called the manager as I got down the street realizing you just don't do that with other people's food especially if you work at a cash register. The manager told me to bring the food back which I did and the cashier lady just looked at the food like...there's nothing wrong. Then when the manager came back with another made order I told him to make sure she knows how to handle food if she works in a restaurant and he had the nerve to say "what's the problem?" So let this be a lesson for me to never go back to this distrusting place. If that's his response of her handling my food wrong then ain't no telling what else they...
