Worst experience ever. Completely unfair. So my family bought 9 tickets and got seat numbers 7-15. My aunt went to go get us popcorn since the movie was starting so she took the tickets with her so she would be able to get back inside the theater. While she was gone an employee approached us because the people next to us were missing a seat. The employee asked where our tickets were and I told her that my aunt had them in order to come back inside the theater and she rudely told us “get out every single one of you.” When we got out we told my aunt and she asked why were we being removed from our seats if we bought our 9 tickets. We showed her our tickets and went back inside and were missing one seat. Seat numbers 1-6 were full and 7-14 were the only seats available which means we were missing one seat. There was a couple sitting in seat 15 and 16 and seat 17 was the only empty seat in that row. We addressed the issue with the employee and they continued to miscount and simply told us that our seats were there, but they failed to understand how there was still one without a seat. So we continued to walk back and forth out the theater because we were still missing one seat. It was completely embarrassing having to come back in & out of the theater due to their mistake that they did not want to admit. This issue could’ve simply been avoided if the woman who was in seat 15 would’ve been moved to her correct seat. Instead they decided to continuously remove us from our seats and miss out on the entire movie. Since they only sat us in 8 seats knowing we bought 9 tickets my aunt just decided to let us enjoy what was left of the movie. She went back to address the issue with the manager and he came and sat her in the empty seat which was seat 17, instead of moving the woman who was sitting in her incorrect seat. We had asked the woman if she could move over one seat so we could have enough seats, but she’s refused to claiming that she was in her correct seat. So we Let it go and accepted the fact that we at least got a chance to watch the remaining part of the movie. Until 10 minutes later when another employee approaches us and simply points and tells each one of us to get out. We were very confused at how they just suddenly kicked us out when we thought the issue was resolved. When we get out the manager told us someone complained that one of us was using our phone. The woman who sat in OUR seat had the audacity to go and complain. Inside there was people taking pictures of the movie, texting, and phone ringing. I don’t understand how checking the time on your phone for a couple of seconds is considered disruptive especially since the phone was with all the brightness down and no where near this woman. At this point we were all very mad and frustrated with this ongoing problem. I don’t see why the people who were actually being disruptive by being on their phones were not kicked out. This is very unjust. First, they did not want to give us our correct seats and second, we were kicked out over a phone. I am very disappointed in the service this theater provided. Completely disrespectful and unfair. We payed around $100 to watch La llorona in the biggest room with the biggest screen and did not even get the chance to watch it. We were kicked out and were denied a refund because they said the registers were closed. The manager and employees responded very rudely and were no help at all. I cannot believe they did nothing to the woman who was sitting in OUR seat. SERVICE...
Read moreAfter two bad experiences in two weeks we are not going back to this theater. We’ve been here before a few times and liked the theater and ticket prices, but last night we went to see Crawl (Rated R) and a lady sat next to me and brings in a toddler about 1-2 years old. As if thats not bad enough, she wouldn’t put her phone down and and kept texting. The entire movie trying to control her kid and texting. I don’t blame the child its not her fault her mother was so selfish she would do that to everyone in there, not to mention taking a toddler to a scary Rated R movie. Ruined the entire experience for me and my family. If they been going in and checking on each movie they would have seen that. I asked her to please turn her phone off and she immediately got an attitude, like I was wrong for asking her to turn her phone off! I had to explain to her your not supposed to do that during a movie. You would think she’s never been to one. She said she didn’t care. She missed the messages before the movie starts telling people not to do that. Not that they don’t play those before every movie. When you go to a kids movie you expect kids to be in there, but not to a serious or scary movie for older people.
Also, a couple weeks ago we saw Spiderman here on opening weekend and the movie stopped in the middle and kept skipping. It took about 30 minutes from when it started for them to fix it. In all the years I’ve been to the movies that’s never happened. It was irritating especially with such a good movie and I can see sometimes equipment doesn’t work right, but it took way too long to fix. Someone had to go get a theater employee because there was no one with the projector. There was no apology for the interruption or anything. Both times the kiosk weren’t working either, yesterday we waited in line to get to the window and she tells they can scan the email inside. That would have been nice to know before we stood in line for a movie we had already bought tickets too. After two bad experiences in two weeks we are not going back to this theater. The Staff being friendly is only reason I gave two stars...
Read morethis is the WORST theater I’ve been to ! The management was very unprofessional ! I was really looking forward to going to watch “la llorona” but this experience ruined my whole night ... I went to watch la llorona with 8 others . Making us 9 in total . We sat in our seats and were starting to enjoy the movie when another group of people came in and said we were in their seats when we weren’t . They made ALL of us 9 get out but let the other group of people stay . They attended us so RUDELY . we showed them our tickets and proved we were in the correct seats but we needed one more seat because some lady was in our seat . They didn’t say anything to the lady and they kept miscounting . They can’t even do their job right . We were left with 8 seats when we payed for 9 . Then they ended up placing the person with a missing seat away from us when the couple that was in our seats could’ve moved down one because they were sitting in the wrong seat . Then we were finally all sitting down and literally like 10 minutes later they go to us and say “get out” in such a rude way . We were all confused in why . We went to the lobby because we wanted to know what was going on and they said my cousin was on their phone when they clearly weren’t . Plus many people were on their phone . A guy behind us was taking pictures and other guy was literally on the phone . We all got upset because what they were doing was unfair . The manager was so unprofessional and immature he started arguing with a 14 year old instead of addressing the adults . All the employees were being so ruined and were gossiping . They didn’t want to give us a refund and told us to get out for being “disrespectful” when they were clearly bring rude and taking us out for no reason . They couldn’t admit they made a mistake with the seating and everyone was so immature . They were literally yelling at teens . I DO...
