To start with , i dont appreciate these loser cops tailgating my 90k car . I paid alot of money for it and you need to keep your distance by not tailgating . If you could afford a car this expensive you wouldn't want people driving their cars right up on the bumper while in traffic either . You write others tickets for that . But its okay for you to dangerously ride my cars back bumper . What if a cat had run in front of me i would have had to either run it over or get hit in the rear by this man riding too close . They allow mass corruption in parkersburg west virginia local government. They allow the lower courts to suspended a mans license when he hasn't even been to court yet . They did this after they failed to send me and my attorney a notice of appearance. Also parkersburg mayor attempted to give himself a 25 k raise saying he should get paid same as charlaton mayor because for some strange reason parkersburg has the same amount of police as charleston. Sounds like some fraud of our tax funds . West virginia capital allows this type of behavior by local small government. Maybe after a dozen lawsuits for violating rights and due process and wv loses all that money maybe but more than likely not they will force the entire state to follow laws and stop being so reckless and violating peoples rights. They allow the parkersburg police and wood county sheriff to harass people , follow them slander them in public , ect . It all falls back on wv capital for allowing it to happen . West Virginia is a horrible state . Migrants don't come here because they know how it is here . Full of corruption. It will always be that way until the so called president stops allowing states to make their own calls . Notice we in west virginia don't have a hotline or a way to report police or official misconduct . Doge group needs to look into you guys I'm sure there is alot of bad spending going on ... west virginia is where every politician wants to live . It's like DC you can fraud all you want in west Virginia as long as you work for the gov . I will be moving far away as soon as possible. West Virginia is a retirement community. Karen's and Kevin's everywhere!! Lol 😆
I'm doing this review because my local gov has it blocked where you can't leave comments or reviews . That's a sign right there but nobody cares . They are so reckless that they had to stop people from posting reviews of how they are running things . So...
Read moreA beautiful State Capitol to visit This is not only easy to find, it is hard to miss. It is the State Capitol and dominated the skyline along the river. It is the building with the large dome in the middle of the state capitol complex located Kanawha Blvd E. There is street parking and a parking garage off of Greenbrier street. It is a short walk past the Veteran’s memorial and the West Virginia State Museum. I would highly recommend paying your respects to the former and spending a good amount of time visiting the latter. We entered through the West entrance. You go through a security checkpoint and then can go to see both chambers or the various offices of the building. It is a beautiful building in the style of many state capitals. We were lucky to arrive when the crystal light for the central rotunda was at ground level and the chandeliers in both chambers were being replaced. Around the rotunda are several display cases showing sights for the various places in the state. There was an information booth on the north side of the rotunda. If you are new to the area, they can give you ideas of things to do and see for the state. The staff was very friendly and it is a wonderful working...
Read moreThe West Virginia State Capitol is one of the most impressive buildings I’ve ever seen. The architecture is absolutely stunning, with its towering columns, grand staircase, and that iconic gold dome shining brilliantly in the sunlight. Just standing at the base of the steps gives you a sense of how much pride and history this place holds for the state.
The grounds are peaceful and well-maintained, making it a great spot to walk around, take photos, or just admire the beauty of the structure. The symmetry and detail of the building really stand out, especially on a clear day when the blue sky frames the dome perfectly. It’s a quiet yet powerful place that represents the heart of West Virginia government and identity.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Charleston, the Capitol is definitely worth a visit. It’s not just a government building, it’s a work of art and a symbol of the state’s heritage. I highly recommend stopping by to experience it...
