The park has a disc golf course, baseball field, a multi-purpose field (usually setup for cricket), walking trails, tennis courts, restrooms, a small playground, and a few shelters. Parking is adequate for the size of the park. I was there for the disc golf. Kilborne is one of Charlotte's oldest and more mature courses. Many trees have fallen over the decades this course has been here but the local club has kept it in great shape throughout the years. This track gets steady traffic - probably due to it's central location. Weekends can be busy, quite a few local tournaments come through here as well. Kilborne is always a fun round. It was set up as a golf-like course with numerous holes and if you wanted to walk through it as a trail (which is what I did) that's fine too though although just make sure that you have proper footing (which I didnt).
All and all I enjoyed this park for everything except walking but that was moreso that I didn't have my running shoes. Also I believe the water fountains don't...
