Realistically speaking I probably should give this place a 3 star because I know some of the things that people are looking for. The sanitation score is a 91.5.. still an "A" but will understandably have some people thinking 🤔🤔, and there is usually a bit of a line when you go, but they are incredibly organized in the old fashioned way of handwritten paper tickets with the number stamps on the corner. It really takes you back. I liked that. Down side: they only take cash so be sure to bring a few dollars with you if you decide to visit.. I ordered the Cubana torta with everything, which has become one of my favorite guilty pleasures, and this low key spot has THE BEST torta I've had so far. It was recommended to me by a couple of my coworkers and I have to say, they did not disappoint. My only other recommendation is to only go there on one of your off days and you have a few extra minutes to burn. You can quickly burn thru a lunch break just waiting for your food, but it's definitely worth the wait

The tortas at the back are a godsend, although I've noticed they've been skimping on the veggies, and to a lesser extent the meat as well lately. The flavor remains unbeatable, and the prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality of ingredients to a regular fast food joint. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have every variety for the sandwiches. I don't think I've ever bought anything from the store itself, but some stuff does seem interesting. I will check out more of it the next time I go for the tortas.

Nice grocery store. You can find great sale items for only 99 cent near the vegetable aisle. You can find produce fresh and reasonable priced. There meat selection is great if you looking for great sales. Some days the prices are reduced. Can find unique meats here that I haven't seen in 40 years. The store is always clean and well stocked. Cashiers very nice. A very nice culture diversity store for the diverse community in the area.

This has to be one of the worst supermarkets I have been to. Their freezer constantly breaks down and you end up with freezer burn on your products. They leave expired food on shelves and think that it is okay to do as they mark down the price. They only carry basic food products, like people who live in the area do not want to eat healthy or have more exotic fare. I do not drive and that is why I shop here occasionally. I do not understand why anyone who drives shops here when there is a Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Bi-Lo not too far away. also while I understand that the neighborhood is predominately Hispanic they could sell products from more widely known companies(i.e. Entenmanns, Little...

I shop here weekly, sometimes twice weekly.I went to the store on may 18th, to grab some items for a neighbor. the man in front of be was buying some fruit pies, he found one with the sticker priced @ 3/$1.00. the cashier wanted to argue with him that they weren't that price, on a previous visit ,I buy the some @ 3/$1.00. he called for a manager to clarify the issue. the manager said only 1 of the pies was for the sticker price, not 3. so she cheated the customer. because of this I walk out without making my purchase, telling the manager, that I was not shopping there for this...
