Mason Wallace Park — Attraction in Charlotte

SAT 2025.06:20, when i arrived, the gate was still closed. And so i went to the CATS Park & Ride to wait. A minute or 2 later, the Park Ranger arrived and opened the gate, and i followed in, parked, and then headed out for a walk (6+ mile CW-Loop) of the Park, and the neighborhood. It looks like it used to be pretty sketchy at one time, but the city is cleaning it up. Some people may not feel comfortable, but I definitely enjoyed my time. There are basketball courts, playground and the ever present baseball field. I didn't notice a public restroom, but that's probably a good idea!
