Ordered a Pizza at 7:36 PM on a Mon. for a friend who had surgery. They stated delivery time was 37-47 min. When the app (wh/ gives delivery update times) said the pizza "Was 7 min to delivery time" I updated my friend (who has 3 kids). To make a long story short, it was still well over 30 minutes out & the pizza was delivered over 1 1/2 hrs. after I ordered it. When I placed the ordered I left a 20% tip on it (wanting to support everyone during this pandemic time). I called the manager at the store #310, 6600 E INDEPENDENCE BLVD CHARLOTTE, NC 28212-7256 He was EXTREMELY RUDE & refused 3 times to give me his name. I then went online to file a complaint which took over 2 hrs. to do b/c you have to have the # on the pizza box to file the complaint & I wasn't going to involve my friend in this debacle. The online chat was totally useless.; they didn't help at all :( The link to file a complaint would not work. (They probably do this deliberately so you can't file a complaint). After about 2 hrs.I finally go a complaint filed and was assured I would get refunded. I have yet to hear from the company. (I gave them my email AND phone #.... crickets......) I am so disappointed. Regardless of this company being horrible, I'm still glad I gave a decent tip. This was from my friend who knew nothing of the horrible time delay besides realizing her family got fed at 9 pm, "I forgot to tell you the delivery man last night was very thankful for the tip you left. Read moreThis location is horrible and probably the worst operated I have experienced.
Last week they had a 90 minute wait on Friday. This week we put our order in early and got 2 XL 3 topping pizzas as part of a special. We put 1 topping on each pie and 1 on the side. They called back and wanted more money for the side topping even though they were paid for in the first place and we didn't even use all 3.
They also messed up the transaction receipt and stood outside in the cold while the pizza got stale to straighten it out. Once they did, we found out they only brought half the order!
After being late, wanting to charge extra for paid toppings, taking 10 extra minutes to fix the order in the cold, and delivering the wrong order, we asked for a cookie pie as a little gesture to make up for putting us through this. Of course they didn't bring anything back with them and all we got was late, cold pizza.
